"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I have the oppurtunity to go out with a girl Ive had a thing for for a while. Weve dated twice before and it didnt work out. She said that after she started going out with me she would "not want me as much as she did when we werent going out" and then when we werent going out she would want me again. Well after going out with one of my friends for about a month she broke it off and now said she likes me again. Im hesitant,I like her but I dont want to go through the process again. Any suggestions for her not "not want me as much as she did when we werent going out" again?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Looks like you get too comfortable early on, so once she has you, she knows it... play a little more aloof and don't always be free to hangout with her.

She wants to chase you and feel as if you may move on, to keep her interested... Many people are like this to some extent. once something falls in our lap, the novelty of its desire quickly fades.

You sound young.

now, for my REAL piece of advice:

Tell her to get lost, and find a girl who doesn't play these games with you. If you did that, you wouldn't have this problem, now would you?

Well I know shes not intentionally "playing games", I know shes felt this way becuase she considers me one of her close friends. And incase you feel that the way I discussed this makes it sound like she doesnt want me,thats not the case.

Date other women, while still trying to get in her pants. But, above all, date other women, and be ready to next her.
