You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

I have been with a girl for a couple of months now. To be honest, i usually do not catch feelings, but this time i will admit it right away, i have caught a few.

The girls is starting her engineering education next week, this means joining not only a class - but a school - of 85% guys, and 15% Girls. She is beautiful, a Solid 7, very outgoing and social. I am not really the jealous type, but i have already begun to wonder what will happen, and whether i will loose her or not.

I know this all comes down to my own insecurities, and that it is a "wrong" thing to even care whether she finds another one, or not.
- But for once, i care about this girl for real, and i might as well admit it, i WILL get hurt if i loose her over some random dude from engineering school.

So whats your take on GF's/Plates starting college? Are/DID you worry about it, and if so, how did it go? And what kind of advice could you give me in my current situation?

Much Appreciated,

Regards,

European..

UPDATE:
She is not going to move away, nor move into college, this is not something you do as much as in the states - she's going to have the exact same distance as before.

I she moving away? Is this going to be a LDR?

If not, then you're just being insecure IMO. You can't worry about other men, there will ALWAYS be other men somewhere. School, work, whatever. That, for the most part, is out of your control. What is in your control is YOU.

To be quite honest, I went to a tech high school, where the gender spread was relatively the same. I have seen what constant and "unlimited" attention does to girls, so I am still a bit worried.

However, while she enjoys attention to some degree (I believe most girls do), she is not an AW. On the other hand, I know her jokes can be a bit confusing towards guys, because they are usually sexual in some context.

I might just be overreacting a bit, hopefully it won't show, or else the relationship is pretty much doomed beforehand..

Appreciate the answers.

I attend medical school.
You and your girl should switch majors, then she will be a nurse and you will be an engineer. That makes more sense eh

Going away to college is a perfect storm for a breakup and has been for me in the past(on both sides), however engineering guys are pretty beta generally. The real issue is how outgoing/i.e. flirty AW you think she is.
You're underestimating a rather large number of engineers. I know a number of them, work on a naval base with civilian ones, and they're not all helpless with women at all. That they're smart doesn't automatically make them nerds that just play League of Legends all night. They're in the weight room and going to football games too. I actually find them usually manlier than the computer science guys.

If this girl is young and attractive at a school with this many more guys, there are still going to be a ton of engineers that can light her lamp.

Like everything else, it depends.

It isn't as if you're some bum not doing anything with your life - you're trying to be a doctor so I'm sure she feels you're a great catch and wouldn't wanna mess that up. But who knows? She may begin to develop feelings for someone else. **** happens. It hasn't happened yet, so don't worry about it. And if it does happen, know that everything happens for a reason and it is likely because you are meant to be with someone else.

Good luck.

That's it. You've lost. Break up with her right now. The moment you become scared or worried of losing her is the moment you put all power in her hands. Your actions will slowly start to reflect it too. You will slowly become a groveling AFC who will do anything to appease her.

She should be the one worried about you banging other girls while she's away. Not you being worried. This is the real test of if you are a beta or not. Set your mind on other goals and activities and women you can do while she's away. Don't be a chump.

You're 22, which is too young to be tied down in a relationship. If you really like this girl then let her go but be positive and let her know that she needs to develop and you need to develop if down the road you two meet up again then perhaps you can see if there's still chemistry.

Otherwise if you continue down the road you are going you'll get jealous and she'll resent you for being too involved in her life and eventually she'll "meet" some other guy.

In the meantime go out and meet lots of women and taste life who knows if 5 years you could be a completely different person in a completely different place and in love with a totally different woman.
