my dad is probably the biggest afc on the planet.
the great thing about him is that he has so much energy and puts it into many things, however it backfires on him. he works a lot operating heavy machinery in 12 hour shifts and with the few hours he has at home, he either sleeps or does loads of work around the house, such as gardening, building new fences or walls, giving people lifts whenever they want it, going for shopping, making me dinner etc (not that these things are essential or that he even wants to do them. most of the time it's because he's supplicating since someone asked him a favour)
i don't honestly think he does anything to please himself.
he's constantly trying to please others. if anyone says something to him, he will snap his neck around and put on a really determined face as if he's making a massive effort to listen to the person. he's always smiling and laughing around some people even though he doesn't like them and pretends to be a really nice guy.
he tries so hard to make an impression on people. since his talents don't extend very far, he boasts about mine constantly to other people. "oh my son's at the university. my son plays very well at golf, do you know he shot a 70 last night......"
so anyway, he's a massive afc. do you think i should tell him what he's doing wrong or just let him stay the same?
