"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I've been seeing this chick for 2 months. She has been very touchy feely since date #2 and shows lots of interest. I normally always reciprocate only since she always lays it out there.
She is on vacation with her immediate family this week and a week ago she said "I'm going to miss you" when I'm on vacation. I played it off a little bit without actually saying that I would miss her too. She seemed a little weird after that and later said that she was concerned that I didn't come back with me saying that I would miss her too.

I'm also spinning 3 other plates so this vacation week is perfect for that. However, I've noticed that she hasn't been as active initiating texts/calls like she was. I understand she is in vacation, but even when I've talked to her on the phone she is always having side conversations with the people around her and just acts sidetracked. Today I just about said "hey I'm at work, so if you arent busy I'll talk to you but if you're busy with convos with everyone around you call me later. It's not fun getting interrupted by people who you are going to be around the rest of the week". Instead I just told her that she seemed busy and to call me later if she got free.

I'm a little cold with women to begin with and I don't get all emotional like the average guy. Reason is my divorce and recent breakup several months ago with a fiancé.. Sometimes good women think I'm just too cold hearted but I'm only very cautious.

Should I just pull back and start letting her initiate everything like I did in the beginning with this chick? I do think I have been initiating probably 50% over the past few weeks and before I was maybe 25%.

Thanks for the help brothers!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I would, if were you. It's a good opportunity to get some perspective. I like to use those times to think and reflect. I usually have breakthroughs, during those times, which help to strengthen my center.
