"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I have a friend who works with me. I asked her out about a month ago a received a lets be friends speech. Partly because I asked her in a non confident way and she had her heart broke by her last bf who cheated on her.

After this I found the Don Juan sites and underwent some changes. I became more confident, increased my kino, made more eye-contact, teasing her and other things.

Since then she has complemented me on my smell several times and told me I have pretty skin. She mentioned how she would hate to kiss a guy with skinny lips and mentioned in the same conversation that she liked how my lips looked because of their shape and size.

I asked her to the movies once. She told me to call her on a certain day to confirm. I called once, but she wasn't home. I saw her at work a day later and she apologized because she had to babysit the day I called. I played it cool and just said ok. I didn't ask if she still wanted to go. I figured if she did, then she would mention it again. A few days afterwards she mentioned that she still wanted to go.

I was thinking that instead of just going to the movies, I could take her to dinner afterwards, and maybe make a move on her. I'm not going to though if it might be a bad ideal. I would hate to lose her friendship because I did something stupid. But I would hate to miss out on an opportunity.

What do you guys think?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

im kinda curious what others have to say on this one, but i think dinner may be a bit hmm to much...the way i look at it, is she doesnt know yet whether or not she wants to take this to that level, i would prolly try something like ice cream instead...not to you know...pushy.

plus it will save you a few dollars and less stress on where to take this broad, yes make that move, not to quick and not to late....be flirty the entire time, throw in a little sexuality once in a while and use kino....ALOT, i love to poke at girls and tickle them, breaks down their defences......and when she's laughing look deep into her eyes while you smile and she'll know what to do..

good luck man.

No dude, forget about movies or dinner. She is definitely testing you.Next time she compliments you on anything, you call her on it. Nice guys, guys in the friends zone say "oh, thanks", or don't know how to respond. If you want her to start feeling a strong attraction, you better get moving fast. Bust on her and start being the kind of man she wants you to be.

Her: You have very nice lips.

You: No I don't, you're just attracted to me.

Her: I love your skin.

You: That's just your excuse to try to touch me.

Get it? Make her explain it to you. In other words, make her earn it.

Then you ask her:

"Do you know how to cook?"

If she says no, you tell her that it is a requirement. If she says she does know how to cook, you tell her she needs to cook you dinner.

Go and set up her cooking dinner for you. After that, let me know and I will tell you how to bust on her and get her practically all over you.

Thanks. I love those suggestions. I look forward to hearing any other suggestions.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I somehow grew to detest the whole first date being a dinner and movie...it's so played out.

Let me open a new door for the first date:

try something with more participation/kino....maybe like arcade, pool, bowling, etc since in a movie theater you two are just staring idly at a movie screen without even conversing or establishing any rapport.

But on a lighter note, it shouldn't really matter where you take her if she really likes you, since the whole point of her being with you is there wherever you go.

contradicting statements, but you decide your fate.

Why do you need more suggestions? Do you want to see if she's interested or do you want to continue on an illusion and let her play games and be wishy washy as to wether you are just friends, or she likes your skin, your lips, etc.

Test her back. Ask her if she knows how to cook. If she's interested, she'll say yes (even if she doesn't), or will offer a counter offer and ask to get together with you. You are qualifiying her, not the other way around. She already had her chance, and decided to give you the friends speech.

Cut to the chase and find out if she's just tryin' to get attention, or if she wants your man meat. Conduct yourself like a man who is reluctantly giving her a second chance, but only if she's gonna be serious and willing to earn it. Otherwise you'll be developing one-itis, like so many here do, and will be wasting time and energy.

Remember, if she plays games initially, then you only invite her out, or take her on dates once she's already sleeping with you. Until then, you just have get togethers, no time for courting.

You have a point. I'm just a bit nervous. I'm new to this Don Juan thing, but I won't let my old habits get in the way of what I want. I appreciate your advice and will try it as soon as possible. Thanks alot. I never would of considered that whole cooking thing an option, but if I thought like that already, I wouldn't be asking for advice. I'll let you know how things turn out.
