"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

So anyway, I met this chick through another chick I was trying to get with at the time. The original girl LJBF'd me, and told me I should go for this chick.. she said she liked me, and she was cute so I went for it. I saw her a few days later and briefly talked to her at some job fair thing at school. Then I stopped talking to her a bit. Then randomly friday (last night) I asked her if she wanted to hang out, she said she was going somewhere with a friend but I could come if I wanted.. I told her no, I wanted to hang out with her alone, she never said anything about it.. but she wrote me back and I asked her for her number incase i "did decide i wanted to see her and her friend tonight", so she gave me her number and i said "yeah, i most likely will not make it tonight, but we can hang out another day.. just the two of us" and she never wrote me back. She hasn't talked to me sense last night.

Is this her way of politely telling me "I'm not interested"? Or what..?

I also went on myspace this morning, and she had bulletins about "how fun last night was" and how fun it was hanging out with robert and david or whatever the **** those guys names were.. so I am not sure. she never has really gave me any deffiniate reasons for me to think she likes me.. i just went off what my friend said.. she gave me a hug once, and we've talked a little.. that's as far as it's gone. then i ask her out, and she wont write me back so i can't tell if she is interested or not? What should I do with this chick?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Your last message to her didn't really give her anything specific to respond to. You cannot ask a girl out "tentatively". That was you mistake. When you ask someone out you need to have a specific plan. You never say "let's hang out sometime" and consider it as if you asked her out...you didn't and she will not view it as a date invite. You have to say "Would you like to go bowling with me on Sunday afternoon?" ...specific. Think of a date idea, a time and then call her in a couple of days and ask her if she would like to go do a specific thing with you at a specific time. If she is interested in you she will say yes or offer a different option if the time is bad or she doesn't like the idea. If she says no and doesn't offer an alternative plan then she's probably not interested. It's that simple.
