"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I wanted your opinion on this situation:

I asked out a girl at work about 9 days ago for a dinner date this weekend. I called her at home (9 days ago) and she said yes and that she will be around. I did not set up a time or place.

I called her on Thursday to ask her out for Saturday. She never returned my phone call. The next day at work, she called me to ask me a work related question. I was not going to mention anything about the phone call or dinner, because I figured I did my part and the ball was in her court. Well, she did never mention anything via e-mail or phone.

My sis says, she maybe did not get the message Thursday night, and was waiting for me to say something the next day. My sis says I dropped the ball, but I beg to differ. I feel hurt and blown off.

BTW, I have an all or none attitude and seem to get resentful at women who romantically reject me. I feel if they just want to be friends, it is a slap in the face. I cannot help it. What do you guys think, blow off?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ummm...seems pretty clear to me that she's not interested. How would she NOT get the message? Your analyzing too much and your talking TO YOUR SISTER ABOUT HOW TO PIMP CHICKS!!! BIG MISTAKE!!!!

Look I'll be honest. I think this girl isn't interested in you, and she's acting like nothing happened because she doesn't want to ruin your work relationship. NEVER date people you work with unless its just a casual part time job you don't give a fuvk about. Its just not worth the drama that is sure to follow.

Uh, you've made 1600 posts and you don't know how to handle women dude? This emphasizes the point that DJs who do not practice what they learn will never learn. I can't help you man, you've got 1600 posts under your belt.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Fine I am willing to accept she was not interested. I sure thought she was at one point, but I noticed she is friendly towards alot of people. It annoys me, because she probably can't do much better than a guy like me (she is prob a 6-7) with no college degree.

I just hope she was never attracted me in the first place or she does not want to get involved with someone at work. If it was because "I was too nice" (which I don't think I was..I did not kiss her ass and I used C and F on her) than I would be really upset.

I will be courteous towards her, but I am not gonna go out of my way to contact her anymore. Sorry man, I take it personally and like I said....It is either ALL or none in my book,....I do not want to be her friend.

Well I was talking to this same chick the other day via e-mail and I had to ask her:

Me: Did you ever get my message Thursday night?

Her: Huh? I don't think so, I have been having problems with my phone lately.

Well, I personally think this may have been baloney (but maybe she didn't get the message), but I am not giving up on this one yet.

Besides, she compliments me at times:

I am leaving the company and she responded back: "You are too smart for this place anyways."

Damn, listen to me, I am getting onenitis.

If she was interested and truly didn't get the message, she would have pestered you to no end about why you called Thursday and what the message said.

Since she didn't, the verdict is clear.

Well, I heard she is very old-fashioned, maybe she is playing hard to get......or does not want to come across as pushy.

The thing is, I do not think this girl can do much better than me....she is like 5'0, average to cute face, nice tits, fake tan, nice blue eyes (fake)...she by no means an 8+...I am in the 7 range, tall and smart. I will never understand chicks man....NEVER....like I said earlier,,,,I do not ever recall acting AFC around her or kissing her ass. I actually bust on her quite often....

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Ask her out again and make sure you get to talk to her in person. Whatever the outcome, you will know how much interests she has towards you.

Some women are just plain CONFUSED with no compass!:D We as men have to grab their hand and lead them to the right path.

Dood your getting almost to the pathetic arena now!!! Drop it!!! Don't take shiat personally.

Look there are so many different types of food out there. What one person loves, the other might hate. Does that mean that since ONE PERSON didn't like it, that its a terrible type of food? FUVK NO! Its just that person's preference. I think you see where I'm going with this....(I hope)

She obiviously is playing dumb when she said she didn't get your message and your right, your developing one-itis right before your very eyes.

There cannot be played with a true Don Juan! unless you're his wife or best friend or someone with no mean intentions.

if you as a Don Juan like to be played then you should be aware.

A Don Juan stands on his own and doesn't let himself be abused or fooled, especially not by a woman.

Unless you are aware and enjoy the little act she puts up. ;-)

She probably don't what's she's missing.
True Don Juans are hard to find and even more harder to fool. :)

She had her chance to go on a date with you and she blew it. Move on to the next one.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
