Should I go No Contact, or Limited Contact?

Dated this girl for two years, we broke up last fall due to lack of commitment on my part - but we have remained close - with her calling everyday like when we were dating. We obviously still have feelings and there has always been "fix our relationship" talk and undertones to our conversations.

A few weeks she wanted to work on things, we saw each other a few times, but when I wouldn't let her look at my texts, she said she couldn't trust me and didn't want to work on things

Now she joined POF last week and has this big date set for Saturday. Last night she said "I might have a boyfriend by the end of the weekend!"

I knew as soon as I heard that, it was time to take action. I went full NC for 5 days when she broke up with me last fall, and it drove her nuts, right back into my arms just about. In this present situation should I cut all contact until she texts she can't live without me or similar, or engage her with very limited contact, so it doesn't look like I'm immaturely flat out ignoring her?

These games are stupid. Forget about her, you owe her no explanations to who is texting you. She isn't your girlfriend anyway, you can have anybody you want texting you. She's on POF so let her get hit up by all the fat AFC's on there. Call her bluff, go NC, she will be calling you again. When she does, I would ignore her. If she was that great you'd still be with her. Don't try to fix a broken wagon. It's too much trouble when you can get a new one. Get a new girl instead where you don't have to fix things. Most of the time these girls have no intentions of fixing things. They just want attention and drama.

She still calls me daily, but the reason I was considering Limited or No Contact was to raise her interest level and regain the upper hand.

Investment doesn't matter when the quality you're getting is crap. You can work on a whole bunch of things but if she isn't willing to contribute it isn't going to work. You didn't want to show her your texts. She got mad and went on POF. Those are games you shouldn't waste your time with. You should be out dating other women and not deal with this petty stuff.

If you're trying to regain interest and gain the upper hand. You're losing to her already. Chicks who lost interest rarely gain it back to where it was before.

It's always easier trying to game a girl with high interest already instead of trying to regain interest in a girl who has lost it and is playing mind games.
