Should I contact a HB8 in the gym or via Facebook?

Hey everyone!

I've seen this hot girl in the gym where I workout. She has been giving me a smile everytime when I started checking her out. I have tried to create situations where I can chat her a little bit and go for the phone number but I haven't succeeded. In the country where I live it would be very odd to just go and chat up a stranger. I have managed to get some courage ( I recently got in to the game) and thought that if I see her again in the gym I just go for it but the problem is that she hasn't been working out there in about two weeks.
I know her by name and do know that she has a facebook account, but nowadays it is just a little to easy and unpersonal to messaging via Facebook.

So fellow DJs I would like to have some advice on this should I contact her via facebook and could you give some openers? Or just approach her in the gym? (Openers are welcome also for the daytime approach) although it could take a while until i see her there I would like to practice daytime approaching.

If she is smiling at you everytime you see her, why wouldn't you go introduce yourself?


Next time you walk in, and she smiles, walk over, stick your hand out and say

"Hi! I have seen you lots in here but we have never met. I am Joseph"

Thanks that should do the trick, it has just been some time we have checked each other out and I have got some pressure on how doing it ( I know I should have approached her instantly but I had a LTR-break up going back then.

Darn! I did not see her in the gym today. I hope she hasn't started to workout in a another gym. Plenty of girls out there of course but she was cute. Maybe next she will be there.

Yes I agree with not approaching via facebook now it was kind of a last option. Hope I'll see her next time there. May God bless you.

NEVER approach through Facebook. Make it an iron rule... It's better to wait for A YEAR until you run into her again than to approach her NOW on Facebook.

Make introductions, chat, get phone number, chat, say bye, profit.

Saw the HB8 in the gym yesterday. I worked out and waited for an opportunity to approach her.
I had a friend following me around the gym and he was talking to me all the time
so finally he left and I saw the girl going to a Yoga/stretching room.
After my set I went there she was doing some stretches and I sat next to her.

Me: I have seen you here a lot but we have never introduced. (Handshake)

HB: I'm Kathy

Me: With K or C? (Devilish smile)


And we a few minutes about working out and school
apparently she is in the same high school as me.
And then go for the number.


Me: Well I have to continue my workout but lets talk some other time. (At the sametime taking my cellphone from my pocket and gave it to her) What is your number?



So she gave the number with no hesitation and left to continue my workout.
I checked when I got home that it was her real number because my phone automatically saved her Whatsapp-account.
It is a different story what happens next
