"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Long story made short:

I met this female at a club last Thursday. We bumped and grinded on the dance floor and she initiated some hand-holding with me. Matter-of-fact, every time I let her hand go, she would grab it again shortly afterwards.

I called her up to go out for drinks and play some pool a couple of days later with a friend of mine and one of his girls. We all had some good conversation before she had to meet up with her friends for a party at a night club (she told me that she had to meet up with them later when I asked her out earlier that day).

My friend, without my permission, asked her if we were invited. She said that we could come along so we told her that we would meet her there later. I walked her to her car and she hugged me and told me that she would probably free the next day also.

Well, when we got to the party, she wasn't there and never showed up. My friend asked me to call her so she can get us in for free if she was there. I called her once but got her cell phone voice mail. I didn't leave a message. So we just went into the party and got a chance to get into the VIP party there for free.

Well, it has been 3 days since then and tonight she called me and left a message asking me to call her. I haven't called her since I thought she should have at least told me that she changed her plans. So do you think I should call her back tonight, wait a day or so, or not call back at all?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Well, you should've ignored your friends' faux pas and skipped the party anyway. She was probably using that as an excuse to get away from you if she needed it. When you showed up there and called and everything, that probably wasn't the best way to play it.

I haven't called her since I thought she should have at least told me that she changed her plans.
Listen up people, this goes for all of you: HER PLANS ARE NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS

Regardless, she called you after all this. I see no reason why you shouldn't call back and feel her out at the very least.

I agree. I gave my buddy the evil eye when he did that. The man just can't turn down a damn party. I felt obligated to show up since after he asked she said that her friend who was throwing the party at the club wanted her to invite as many people as she could.

I decided to call her back and I didn't make a big deal about since, like you said, "HER PLANS ARE NONE OF MY BUSINESS."
