Should a DJ keep his nerd toys like a Rubik's Cube hidden, in case he ascends and takes a chick home?

I was watching this, and it got me thinking:

Granted, this particular guy, a White man in Malaysia, could still ascend by JBW. And he actually has the look of a 70s/80s porno actor.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I have one of these in my home-office. I use for stress relief / down periods and d.g.a.f. what perception is

To put any fear to rest it has always made a good talking point and I am usually asked if I ever solved it (by the woman who see's it). I then usually pass it and it's fun to see her try to solve it, it makes for some laughs.

So the problem is not the cube per say but the owner. It's not going to be sexy in the hands of unattractive geek.

Simp: Hides parts of himself in a futile attempt to gain validation from women and being liked by them.

Based man: Lets all parts of him remain in full view, disqualifies any woman who takes any issue with it instead of compromising himself to impress them.

If I fvcking love Rubik's Cubes and some woman thinks negatively about it then she's not my type of woman. She can get lost for insulting my interests.

I play DnD ffs, doesn't get much nerdier than that, but no woman so far has seen that as any issue. They'd have no clue if I didn't say it because I don't walk, talk, dress or act like a stereotypical socially awkward nerd. The problem is never the interest, but carrying yourself like other people are aliens who you don't know how to interact with is the problem. At worst they don't care that I play DnD, it doesn't score me any positive points, but also doesn't score me any negative points. Some are intrigued by it and I've had longer conversations with women talking about what it is, how it works, what's fun about it and so on while they remain engaged in the conversation.

Only insecure dudes consider hiding such interests and it's their insecurity in itself that is the real problem, not the interests.

Sure, there are some women who will have prejudice the moment they hear about a particular interest, but they're just stupid superficial cvnts anyways.

That video looks like camera tricks. A guy doing rubics cube with one hand that fast? I don’t know about that.

There was a Chinese movie about 20 years ago, the older man (mid 40s) and young woman (in her 20s) had sex 3 times in it, The girl got really really rich and famous because the sex in it looked real and guy was a major star. Months after she became a star, director said they didn’t really have sex, it was “camera angles”.

There was a video of Steph Curry making impossible full court shot in warmup, People were in shock and awe, Weeks later, from a different perspective, it showed the ball didn’t even go in. ‘Camera angles”

Even those videos posted on here that have hot 26 year old girls on Youtube saying “I cant find a nice man! Why don’t you guys ask us out on dates? Where are all the men?” I don’t believe it’s true. It’s all designed to manipulate your way of thinking, It benefits the rich and powerful to think the way they want you to think.

A lot of stuff you see on YouTube, TV, movies, even what your hear in music, is designed to manipulate your way of thinking for their benefit. Heck, look at what the current Administration is doing. They don’t even acknowledge reality or facts, it’s all “if it’s good for image and / or makes me money, it is true and I agree with it.”

Administration Is going after Harvard and higher education. Why? To stop critical thinking. To stop questioning what’s right and wrong, They want to re direct the money they give to Harvard and put into apprenticeship schools. Plumbers, carpenters, window washers.

Can only be so many cooks right? But I digress…

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Rubik's Cubes are fine but some other nerdy toys might be perceived less favorably by a visiting woman.
This is beyond what women will think. Some things laying around the house just stand out as foolish to ANYONE

"Nerd hobbies" are similar to "being artsy"... There's a way of doing of each that'll mark you as either a cultured man or a schlep. Talking here being a scholar/connoisseur of cinema who can rattle off obscure yet fascinating facts about film from it's origins through today VS Being able to quote The Ewoks movies + Having read every Star Wars novel written, yet being proud of the fact that you "don't get" flicks that aren't IP-related in some way
