Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Looking for advice on girl who works too much

hey, my first post... kool. i'm ace. i've been reading up on this site for months now, and i feel i've really improved myself and my life. i guess the next step to become even greater is to join the forum. so... hi. besides introducing myself, i want to fill u guys in on my situation right now and get some opinions. thanks in advance.

so its my senior year. easy classes, focusing on the social life. lots of hott juniors came from the high school. see, we have 2 high schools. 1 is 9-10, and the other is 11-12. its a big school district. anyway, i've been using all my dj skills since school started, and i have to say, this has been my best year. girls seem much more receptive, and everything is just more fun. now, down to the good stuff.

this girl in my french class, lets call her kim. kim is awesome. she's from Honduras, so she's got that whole latin flair thing going on, and a little bit of an accent, which is dead sexy. she's a junior, but it doesnt make much difference. great body and face, i'd say a HB9 for sure. we talk all the time in class. i'm always doing c&f, its pretty natural to me, and i enjoy making people laugh, especially girls. she doesnt show any negative signs when i touch her, so i throw in a little kino whenever i can. when i come into class, she's always like, "oh hey ace! come sit over here with me!" pointing to a desk next to her. so overall, our relationship is great. i decided to go for it the other day, set up a date for the weekend, u know. i asked if she had any plans for the weekend, but she said she's working. in fact, she works a lot... she stays late, she closes, and she says she doesnt get much time off. i have a friend who works in the same place and he admits the management over-works them a bit. before, when the group in class has been talking about weekend activities and such, she mentioned that she doesnt get to go out much, but she wants to. i'm pretty sure she'd love to spend some time with me outside of school, but..... u see the problem.

so, gimme some advice. i dont really want to wait around for a day she happens to be off, but she cant work ALL THE TIME, right? i have a few other prospects around the school, of course. maybe i should focus on them for a while? any ideas or opinions will be appreciated.

oh, and im glad i finally joined the boards. sweetness.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

well........ errr........ nice feedback guys...... yea....... real helpful............ 2 days and only 1 reply........ guess i need to be more.... i dunno.... afc-ish? like, have some regular, loser problems? then i get advice from everyone, but its the same thing everytime. i have a hold on that stuff, its not hard. maybe the high school section doesnt now how to handle this problem?? i dunno....

anyway, i have a problem with another girl, maybe it'll be more worthy of your time. this girl named marisela, total hottie, but totally innocent. like, she has next to no idea whats going on when im flirting with her. she's fun to talk to, and she's single, but i dunno if its worth going after. i like a girl who can notice my subtle hints, and so far, its over her head. maybe she just needs to be in the right situation, like on a date, when she'd be expecting that sorta thing, u know?

throw me some ideas. or dont. whatever works for ya.

when you are flirty with a girl that doesnt like you in that manner, more on a friends manner, some of us have been known to play dumb and act like we dont know you are flirting with us.

always seemed to work for me:)

I have read awhile and posted quite a bit and it almost seems as if she is trying to give you the slip. Play mind games with you, like you in school but not want to be with you afterwards. What I would do is check up on her, maybe try to catch her in a lie and confront her about it in a c&f way. Maybe then she will find out that you are serious, or you could just tell her to get with you her first free day and bite the bullet and wait. That is what I figure.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

nah, i dont think that's it. lots of my friends know her, some even have classes with her, and they say she's innocent like that all the time. one friend even went on a date with her, and he says nothing really happened at all.... now, whether he just has bad game, or she didnt care for him, i dont know. maybe she's just a boring ditz? lol. i think that does happen tho. like u dont know we flirt with u, pssssh.

and to kegger, i dunno about that. would she really spend the whole year talking and laughing and having fun with me if she was trying to get rid of me? sorta defeats the purpose, right? but then again, girls make no sense, so its a possibility. on any account, its something to think about.

keep em coming! lol, i get a little rough and the posts start coming.
