okay here it is, i wrote this girl in class, who i think is hot, a letter concerning class. A question about a test or something. She wrote back, and i was lucky enough to thank her in person and even introduce myself. The thing was, i didnt go for a number close (i know i should of, just the whole thing didnt last too long). Is it lame to write back and try to get a number if I rarely see her? if you guys dont think so, what should i say in the letter?

That sounds reasonable, however one more thing i want to take into consideration. If i dont bump into her again and its already been a week, should i write and say something, or just be patient and wait until i do. Also, if i should write,what should i say?

At the very least she'll call you to ask WTF. If you try to be too smooth on paper you'll come off like ypou don't have the passing fads to say it to her face even if there is a genuine reason for writing rather than talking to her.
