She Mentioned Money Twice

I was talking to this girl I'm going out with tomorrow. In our conversation she told me that she's going to grad school in the fall b/c she can make more money. Then when she asked what I went to grad school for I said Information Systems and she said "there's a lot of money in that." I'm not one to brag, so I said "that seems to be the rumor." Is this girl in it for the green or is she a goal oriented broad?

Why don't you ask her? Like: "So, I guess money is pretty important to you isn't it?" and follow up with "How important?"

I think there is no reason to bring it up. One of the reasons people go on to advance their careers is the creed for better life (through enhanced earnings). We all prefer a more luxorious life. If she pursues the same dream it is a positive sign of someone who is ambitious and self-driven.

Whether she is money hungry you will come across many signs in due course that will spell that inclination. The incidence you reflect does not conclusively prove that -- in one way or other.

On a date, borrow some of her money. Say you left your wallet at home, and see how she reacts.
