"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I'd keep it brief and fairly formal but not dismissive and cold.

For example:
Her: "Hey, how are you?"
You: "Any fitter and I'd be dangerous."
Her: "That's great. I'm doing ok."
You: "Glad to hear it. I'm killing it at work at the moment and need to organise some stuff for a party this weekend, so gotta run. Bye."

Even that might be too chatty but it shows that your life is going just great without her. You haven't asked her any questions or indicated you want to keep the conversation going. But you also haven't come across as a complete prick.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

She's not interested in you any more, you've fvcked any chance you once had. You got affected, too much so, now the more she pulls away the keener you'll get. You've showed your poker hand, lost and now have been placed in the box marked "stalker/serious types/obsessives/weird admirers".

You should move on and forget about her, but you'll probably try everything you know to win her favour back and make matters worse.

Sorry dude, sometimes hearing the truth hurts.

Okay so during NC, if she contacts me, should I talk normally or a reserved/ignoring attitude?
If she contacts you, you do not answer! You ignore texts, you let voice go to voicemail and you IGNORE her. If you absolutely *must* say or text something, then give her *nothing* when you do it! A simple "Can't talk now, busy: I'll get back to you"! in voice or text message will suffice. You are trying to build tension, interest, curiosity and (hopefully)madness! Drive her mad by not letting her know what you are up to...most women can't stand it. Especially if they have had power over you before....
