So i've had a terrible case of oneinitis for awhile now. I made a lot of mistakes and ended up being real beta. I had a talk with her and she has told me she isn't ready for anything serious right now. So we're just fwb. Am i setting myself up for disaster by continuing this while i want something more? Shes also gone for the next three months if that means anything.

I would drop her man. No committment means she rejected you and sees nothing more. I would not settle for seconds. Gone 3 months? Long time to be away and will be hard to reconnect after that. Find other fwb's you will need them.

Agreed Pena. Lose interest in her and then when she comes back, show a tiny bit but only enough to bang. Keep it mutual that it's just a fun little thang and yall won't ever go past it. Tell her you have no future with her. You'd be surprised but women eat that sh!t up.

This is solid advice.

Deprioritise her and date other people. She will either see what she might lose and commit or not. At that point you won't care as you will have OPTIONS.

A man with OPTIONS need not fear the outcome of one of those options.

Been there done that. In fact it was said girl that brought me to this site. It's funny, looking back, I'm not sure I would have changed anything as there were some good times beyond the sex. Any experience is worth it as it's a learning opportunity. Having said that, just know that once they make up their mind, they usually don't change it. No amount of hanging around showing them how great you are will win them over. The longer you stick around the harder it will be to get rid of the oneitis.
