"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

she blocked me when i called her out on her 'what do you do for a living?' question!

POF of course.

An attractive blonde messages me (Red flag in itself). Twice within 5 mins. The second message asking if I speak because I hadn't replied. Another Red flag right there.

So not 5 messages in she asks me what I do for a living. Normally I would have answered in a boring fashion exactly what I did for a living but remembering someone's post about this being a red flag I pointed this out to her that not 5 messages in she was asking what I did for a living and that this was a huge red flag.

Instant block. No excuses or anything. Interesting, isn't it?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Again an another example of taking the material too far.

Theres no need to say that.

Generally its a harmless common question.

Yeah, I thought someone would say that but if it was such an innocent question then she would have made some excuse or at least tried to justify herself or make a joke of it. The instant blockage looks suspect to me.

Who know what went through her mind when you said that. Maybe you did doge a bullet.

But I suspect a lot of good girls are going to ask you that question, and by giving them that response you're not going to be doing any good.

You could of just made a joke instead if you dont want to answer it.

I kind of was making a joke when I said that.

But I wasn't really getting a jokey vibe from her. She seemed a bit pushy. Especially when I didn't reply straight away.

Besides, it says in my profile what I do. Clearly she hadn't read it.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Dumb dumb dumb.....very dumb on your part...she was attracted to your pics and wanted the **** provided you make a lot of money and are able to be a future option....you should have told her you were a doctor or some sh%t and banged the hell out of her gold digging ass a few times and then dropped her....

Why do you guys take everything so seriously...how is that a red flag???? She is showing interest man....hit it and quit it...it's only a red flag if you plan on marrying her...and that's actually a very normal question that i get asked all the time...WTF...i even ask chicks that just to make convo sometimes....you acted all sketchy when you probably could have been banging her...in my experience women online who make the effort to contact you first are almost always easy lays....i just banged one last night who made the effort to contact me first just yesterday...same day lay from it...told her to meet me at such and such hotel at such and such time and she was down....

Only if you are looking for a relationship is this a wise move.

What are your intentions?

Ok. Fair enough. Lesson learnt. I'm getting plenty of approaches at the moment using just one very casual picture so I can readjust and continue. Thanks for the advice.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

You should have just answered the question. Seems to me she was just making conversation. If she asked how much money you make, or what kind of car you drive, then yes red flag.

I get the impression you're thinking she's a gold digger, or looking to disqualify you based on your income. But more likely it's just polite conversation. I bet "What do you do for a living?" is one of the top five questions asked between ANY two strangers, regardless of gender.

Whenever I go to a new place to get my haircut, I know it's going to be one of the first things they ask me. It's kind of socializing 101, get people talking about themselves, and the easiest way to do that is ask them what they do. Personally, I hate talking about work, but that's beside the point. I usually just quickly answer the question, and change the subject.

True but I think perhaps my comment could have been seen as a joke or a
sh1t test, no? Instant block seems a little touchy to me. Had someone said that to me I would have responded back with a smart a$$ response or something.

I'm getting tons of approaches by the way with only one profile pic. And not just fatties, some cute girls too. With the previous 3 pics I wasn't getting anything.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Nope, you took it too far OP.

I'm harder on women than just about anyone here, but I give her a pass on this one because your response made you seem touchy and angry, an huge, scary red flag for women.

Like the others said, you could have either made a nonsensical answer (e.g. I put out oil well fires), astronaut, ballet dancer, etc.

If you want to call a women out, prepare the field by communicating covertly. Covert communications is hinting at annoyance without being angry, sort of implying very subtly that you're above her but in a humorous way.

You certainly did dodge a bullet but she blocked you because you came across as I mentioned above.

Curious... what is it about your latest picture that is getting the results as compared to the older ones?

Stop feeding him lies. He's not going to bang her and then just "drop". Once he bangs her, he'll get sucked in and start posting on here about his "BPD ex".

Ok - the old ones were me in a smart shirt and trousers, stubble, nice haircut in an office environment etc.

The current one is me in a tight t-shirt (showing off guns), pyjama bottoms casually sitting smiling nicely into camera. I look like I just got out of bed.

Yeah. It's not meant to be a dig at you but a lot of times, it's hard to separate emotion from sex after doing it multiple times.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
