"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I'm friends with a girl that I have known for half a year. When we met she was single, then had a boyfriend within 2-3 weeks of us meeting and we didn't do anything except hang out as friends.

Now they are broken up but she makes it clear that she wants to get back with him. I tell her that she should try to take lead and clear up the misconceptions with her boyfriend. She listened to me and be is playing games with her by pretending to be "hurt" by her breaking up with her.

We hang out once or twice a week, go to the bar, etc. and often times she flirts with me but I never make a move and I tell her there's no way I would even kiss her when some of these things come up in conversations.

Yesterday, while eating at a pizza place, I was flirting with her and asking her to turn around so I could see her ass lol. Anyway, towards the end of it, she asked me, "do you think I'm interested in you?" My immediate response was, "no" and said it in a cool confident way. She didn't say anything else about it.

Any idea what's going on here? What answer was she expecting?

Points to note:
1. We are friends
2. She knows I find her attractive
3. She also knows I don't want her lol
- I intentionally put her in the friend zone in front of her friends who thought there was something going on between us.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
