That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Long story: I used to be king of the AFCs; lost a lot of good girls being this way. Eventually I got completely sick of it so I went on the internet to find out what I was doing wrong. According to sosuave.com, everything.
Its hard to change ones ways though, so I really didn't believe the site, and kept up at my moronic AFC ways. And I kept getting stepped on. I lost quite the looker too: tall, blonde, good personality etc. After this screwup, I swallowed my 'pride' and paid attention.
What I learned was:
1. Never give away respect. I used to have a terrible habit of doing the opposite: giving people my respect automatically and waiting for them to lose it. The right way is to have them earn it. With this attitude, you feel no obligation to satisfy anyone who hasn't earned your respect yet. I think this was my biggest improvement.
2. Have no fear. The biggest fear I had was being judged by others. It's almost as if I was afraid to just be who I was, and do what I wanted, because someone would disapprove. I don't know how I changed this, I just did. I stopped caring about anything anyone else thought about me, and I'm much happier for it. Have I made enemies this way? Yes. But I've also made dependable friends.
3. Treat attention hors and bytchy women as objects, not people. If they want to succeed by being superficial, judgemental, and egocentric s|uts, then that's how they'll be treated: like a free prostitute.
4. Never compromise your goals and dreams for a woman. It's your life you'll be living for the rest of your life, not hers.
So I went out into the field and applied these rules. In about 6 months I went from being king of the AFCs to a player, or what many would term a PUA. Right now I have a girlfriend, although she's making me have to pull rule#4 out frequently. I'm not sure it's gonna last. Whatever.

Anywho--here's how it started for me:
I had dated this girl on and off for about three years, and even after she ended it on three separate occasions, I had a horrendous case of one-itis for two or three years afterwards (probably because it was the first girl I dated who I had a reallllly strong sexual attraction for.)
Anyway, I took far too long to cut her out of my life completely (because she wanted to remain "friends.") I figured by staying in the picture, she'd come around.
So, after about two years of not seeing this girl at all, she shows up--out of the blue--to one of my performances (I'm in a local improv comedy group.) And although it seemed awkward at first, we began hanging out again. We kind of re-kindled things for about a month, until she abruptly ended it yet again.
I decided right then I wasn't going to deal with that sh*t anymore. I'd had three LTRs at this point, but I had never played the field. It was time to stop being a chump and do something about it.
So, I immediately started doing some online research about attraction, how to be a better man, etc. The first interesting thing I found was Double Your Dating. After some hemming and hawing, I ordered it. I tried to absorb what I could, and although I was skeptical about the ****y/Funny approach, I saw some other things that made perfect sense--things about not giving away power to women, taking control, and most importantly, not "seeking approval."
I decided to apply what I'd read, and immediately I saw an increase in women's responses. From then on, the lightbulb went off, and I swore whenever I had the urge to return to my old ways, I'd remind myself of what I'd learned and how well it's worked. I had always been naturally C/F, but what I didn't realize is that when you convey that same attitude to attractive women, it comes across as supreme confidence and comfort within your own skin--both very attractive qualitites. From there, the effect snowballs, and you begin to feel confidence from the results you're seeing.
This website is a very good reference also, because people post frequently about real experiences, and there's lots of the same principles floating around regarding what it takes to make yourself attractive to women.
There's no disputing how well a shift in attitude works.

I had guys asking me to be a wing man before I even knew what a wing man was. I didn't know how to handle girls when I was in middle school, but when I got to HS, and started having beer with the Varsity teams, I started getting looks and what not from girls. I didn't know what I was doing back then, use to play a lot of uncessary games but I got some results.
When I was mid way through my sohpmore year I roped a really hot girl (captian of her basketball and feild hockey teams so she was pretty in shape) and I got invited to all kinds of parties from girls and guys (Because the guys knew my girl would bring other hot girls). I didn't do too much gaming after I got my girl cause she was hot and I didn't want to mess things up, but I did hang out with her friends a lot so female interaction was becoming more and more natural for me.
I then went to college in Hawaii (I'm from Maryland originally) where I was very dissapointed with the spread, but I made the best of what I had to work with. I develped a serous reputation around campus and a bunch of people labled me as "an egotistacal player" straight up. I didn't care because I got to partake in some of the best surffing in the world. I definatly improved my game by leaps and bounds my first year of college, I didn't worry about too much in terms of what people thought about me, I just did my thing with whatever girl(s) I came across and liked.
I did get mad island feaver in hawaii which lead me to Vegas where I took year off of gaming (mainly because of my location and situation) then I just hit the ground running again. Honing the skills and tools of the trade around the REAL city of lights. I continue to grow and refine my game to this day.

Oh I had a classic start with girls. I was always really clingy. I got my first serious girlfriend my sophmore year of HS. We dated all the way through college. 5 years I devoted to her and because I was AFC I made ALOT of mistakes. Pretty much she was a perfect wife type. I asked her to marry me at and we planned the wedding for September 12, 2004. But I destroyed what we had by cheating with some slvt from where I worked at the time. So I lost the best thing I had. Then (I was so fvcking stupid) I got with the girl I cheated on her with. And stayed with her for 6 months. She was trash and I dont know why I did what I did. I am not gonna lie I was way to good for her. Anyway then the slvt of course cheated on me. Now I had strong sexual attraction to her because it was the best sex I have ever had at the time, and I thought I loved her, so my feelings were all fvcked up. Then get this the first girl was so in love with me that she got really sick (no lie) and was in the hospital for a while after I broke up with her. And she waited 6 months to talk to me again. When we talked she was like begging me to be with her again and confessing her love for me. God I was so stupid because I threw my whole life away. But I decided to get off the drugs and what not and get back with her because I truely loved her, and I still do. She will always be the one thing I wish I could have. But anyway she came back and we tried really hard to work it all out but then she left me. I think she just needed closure with me but what ever it hurt so bad because I had realized what I did and was sorry for it and realized that I loved her the same as she loved me before. So when she left me that is when I went into like a 3 month depression and everything. I was on pills and sh!t. So I broke her heart and she got her revenge by breaking mine. Then I got with this website because I honestly went more than 40 days and nights with no sex at all and I wanted to get laid. Also I was out of the game for so long that I had no game at all. Well I went through DJ bootcamp as fast as I could. Also read the peice on how to talk to females in a sexual state. Let me tell you all, that technique saved my c0ck.
