Sh!t test again, seriously!?

Alright so for the past few girls that I have asked out, I managed to fail on a few because of the same comment. Now the comment has not killed me entirely, but I've managed to skip passed it easy at one point. The comment is always the same line: "You don't want to be with me, trust me." Now of course this comes in varying forums but I want a solution. I acknowledge that I won't get one that will work for me, but some solutions that have worked for others would be helpful.

Edit: Also, why ask girls out? It's the ***** way out. Just go for a kiss. Or better yet, drag her some place private and go for sex. The shock value of it makes you fun so whether or not you actually score she will respect you. Just come from the right, entertaining, place with it.

Then again, with all the one-itis going around these days, I could be wrong. These are strange times we live in, where the object of affection is more in touch with your emotions than you are.
