"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Sexting is a good sign, but how do I turn this into a good first date?

The girl I've been talking with, and who I'm scheduled to go on a date with this week is a fan of sexting. She's told me: You can have me any way you want me, I bet you taste so gooood, what would you do to me if you were here right now? etc. I was talking about this restaurant I went to and said: It was so good. She replied with: That's what she said. Then I said: She was talking about me, and she finished it with duhh:). So the point here is that this girl is into me, and I'm down with that. However, I leave for school soon, and she stays in town, and I'm not the kind of guy to hit it and quit it, and I don't want to be an *******. While these are really big signs of interest, and she's told me multiple times how attracted she is to me, I've only talked to her in person sparingly since I was older than her in hs. Because of that, I worry that can really affect how our date goes, and I'd like to know a game plan to work this to my advantage.

Her ex bf has also come into the picture. She broke up with him 2 months ago, but he's been wanting her back. He even went as far as coming to her house and trying to kiss her, which she said she rejected. She also told me he just frustrates her and she doesn't want to be with him and she wants to get to know me better, but I don't like the fact that there's possible competition between me and some scrub. The way I see it, if she ever turns it into a Parachute vs tool bag type of ordeal, I'll just op out, because I'm not getting involved with some girl who has to take time to figure out the obvious answer to a situation and make the right choice (me). So in all honesty, I'd like to just squash this bug when I take her out.

Thanks for the input, gents.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Do you know what kind of guys say they aren't a "hit it & quit it" type??

Inexperienced nice guys.

These guys usually lack experience with women, don't know how to play the game and tend to over-analyze AND idealize the girl they are interested in. This creates what I like to call the "tunnel vision" effect; where even though you haven't even kissed the girl, you already think you have feelings for her and want ONLY her.

Big mistake!

Because of that, I worry that can really affect how our date goes, and I'd like to know a game plan to work this to my advantage.
Your worried because you didn't talk to her much when two went to school together? Why would you worry about that?

That doesn't even matter, all that matters is the present and it seems like she is interested and attracted; so your game plan should be NO GAME PLAN. Be confident and have fun. You know she's interested so there shouldn't be anything to analyze at this point.

but I don't like the fact that there's possible competition between me and some scrub.
Maybe you should start trying to date Nuns then....

Because here's a reality check for you bro.

Every decently attractive to hot girl has MULTIPLE guys chasing them at the same time ALLLLLL the time.

If you shy away from competition, what your really saying is:

"I'm not confident in my ability to attract you, so I will curl my tail between my legs and move aside."

The way I see it, if she ever turns it into a Parachute vs tool bag type of ordeal, I'll just op out, because I'm not getting involved with some girl who has to take time to figure out the obvious answer to a situation and make the right choice (me).
The exbf shouldn't even matter to you. Like I said above, a truly confident man doesn't worry about other suitors for the girl he is interested in. If you worry about the competition you WILL phuck up.

Instead you should be improving yourself! When you do that, you will have multiple suitors and YOU will be the one that she is chasing; the way it SHOULD be.

Look you sound pretty young and like your just getting into the game. You have a lot to learn and experience is the best teacher.

I think your whole mindset is wrong right now. If you take one thing away from my reply it should be this:

"NEVER PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT A WOMAN SAYS, FOR HER TRUE INTENTIONS WATCH WHAT SHE DOES."

So go out together, have fun; be flirty and enjoy yourself. If I were in your shoes and I was leaving for school soon, all I would be thinking about was hooking up and having fun.

And if things go well, then you have a nice little friends with benefits situation every time you visit.

Its pretty clear this girl wants to hook up and have fun; if you go in trying to be all romantic and "not be an @ss-wwwhole" you will not get a damn thing.

While I may not be that experienced, I'm not attached, and I'm keeping my options open. I'm not attached to this girl whatsoever, I'm just trying to play my cards right. I'm more experienced than you'd probably expect.

You're right about not needing a game plan. I was overanalyzing the situation.

What i was trying to say is that I'm not afraid of competition. I welcome it, because I know I'm going to win. I'm not afraid of it by any means, but I don't consider that ex bf competition at all. He's a fly to me, and he can't beat me. There's no way in hell I'm moving aside.

I do want to have fun, and I want to hook up with her, and i'm gonna make that happen.

Thank you
