I know this has been asked before. I am looking for more opinions on this. I am currently dating a girl and things are quite wonderful. We havent had sex yet but things are slowly warming up between us. Shes had one guy in her life. He was a boyfriend of 2 years, and he lost his virginity to her and she lost hers to him. Shes was on birth control with him the whole time, and she said they used condoms only 10 times out of there relationship. Now this girl is really digging me. She is definately into me and i know she wants to have sex with me. She has been tested and is STD free, and she told me that she wants me to get tested as well. Now she hasnt gone off her birth control (the patch) ever since she started it 2 years ago. She is really serious about taking it as she firmly states that staying on it is the healthiest way for using birth control. i.e. going off and on it can cause health risks. So my question is since she is clean, and im gonna get myself tested, and if im clean, is it a possibility that we could be having sex without the use of condoms. And if we do should you be pulling out before you go?

Has she been tested for HIV ? You do know there is a six month window period. She has to wait six months since her last sexual encounter with her ex for it to be an effective result.
When was your last sexual encounter? If longer than 6 months, then go get a blood test when you get your other STD/STI tests. Along with Hepititus C
If you are both clean of everything, then if she's been on the patch for that long, you SHOULD be fine. But i'd let her know to pay close attention to her ovulation cycles....if she's ovulating there is a change she could get pregnant on the patch. Rare, but it happens. Other than that, go for it.
