"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Yesterday I've been told that I'm arrogant as **** and act like I think I'm better than everyone except my squad. This was by my female best friend who I like for being honest as ****. She's a female friend because she's in a long standing relationship with my main boy. She's an HB8 so it's good to have her around for social proof if we go somewhere. I'd never want her though. Anyway, this wasn't the first time I'm told I'm arrogant. I've been told so many times, especially by teachers in high school and college. My mom also likes to regularly set me straight about my arrogance although I have a good relationship with her. My sister does this too and my sister tells me I push people away that want to get close to me except for my 5 man squad. What the **** is wrong with keeping your circle tight? Although I kindof realised I do really push people away that want to get close. I ended things with an FWB yesterday for no ****ing reason. She told me "I love you" when saying goodbye after chilling last week.

This gets me to my next point, I just don't give a **** about people no more except for my main friends. I've found myself being a savage to people around me doing whatever the **** I want to do with no regards for the emotional well being of other people. I used to be someone who cared about the ones I kept kindof close, even if they were just good friends and now I just stopped giving a **** about everyone except my 5 main partners. I was always a savage to random people I don't know but I'm starting to **** **** up with people I know well too. Like one girl I was chilling with called me after we hung out asking if I really wouldn't go with her to her place to sleep over, she had already asked me in person and I said "naaaa I wanna sleep at home". She was lowkey tipsy so I tell this ***** on the phone "I aint gonna roll over there with the chance of you falling asleep and us not smashing". I simply didn't give a **** about game or nah.

Should I change myself up or just fly straight with how I am and tell people to **** off if they don't like me?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

You are indeed arrogant, your description of yourself describes arrogance very accurately. I don't think the question should be to continue like this or change. You should instead ask yourself the consequences of both choices, if you don't know I can tell you. If you continue you'll keep driving everyone away, even your closest friends with time. If you change you'll keep them, you'll get more and they will most likely even treat you better.

So the real question is, can you accept ending up and being alone with a rotten reputation disabling you from recovering in case you regret your present decision?

In case you ever do want to learn empathy then consider this question relevant, how do you feel about others not giving a single fvck about you? People will treat you like you treat them, if you don't give a sh!t about them they won't give a sh!t about you (if not immediately, then eventually). If you can ignore and reject then you can't expect something else from others, you're not any more special than others.

Please note I'm not deciding for you, nor am I suggesting what to decide. I am telling you how that choice is going to go down in the long run and what to do IF you choose to change. The choice is yours.
