"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

there's this chick that's currently showering me with attention, and I wanna ask her out but I can't until next weekend, but I still wanna ask her because I already see the intensity of her IL going down. She's been at it for a week and a half but I've been so busy lately. So if I ask her out tomorrow, but for next weekend (only time I'm available during next week) would it be ok? or will I look like a total idiot?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

It's perfectly fine.

It only seems weird to you since I'm guessing you're college-aged, and you're used to calling people up and saying hey come over. Out in the real world people are busy; they have day planners and crap.

Yeah, I do it all the time. Just make sure that you let her know that you aren't just blowing her off; that you are genuinely busy but looking forward to getting together with her.

Perfect timing. Women actually like all kinds of notice before their "dates". The date itself is just a fraction of the whole experience for her. If she is interested in you, she will think about it, analyze it, tell her friends, anticipate, go shop for the right outfit(s), get herself ready, etc. She will then go through the easiest part, the date itself, then she will analyze it, tell everyone again, and try to figure out where she stands with you.

if its a new girl make sure you keep in contact up to the date though...ive had plenty of girls flake on me because i didnt do that...first call is to set up a date and keep it short, but if you set up a date for next week...theyll eventually lose interest if you dont keep in contact....anyone else experience this?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

No, not me.

Whenever I make a date a week from then, they do show up. I've never been outright stood up.

Seems like when you send a text just before "are we still on for tomorrow?", she's quite likely to say "come to think of it, no." Happens a lot to guys here.
