I need some input from you guys. I think I have some sort of obsessive compulsive disorder. It seems like when ever my GF doesn't call for a period of time, I get pressed. I then have this obsession to call her and see what's going on (like if she doesn't call me on her way to work). I'm usually the one calling. I vowed yesterday to stop doing it (calling all the time). I see her everyday and we have good times together (LTR).

I'm just wondering if I'm being to clingy or do I have some sort of disorder. Sometimes the stuff I read on this website is the exact things she does to me in the relationship (not too wussy, not calling all the time, different moods). What do you guys think.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

You are getting played, she is the DJ and you are acting dangerously close to an AFC.

If you don't buck up, you will spend the rest of your life supplicating to her or another woman.

You already know this.. that is why you wrote to us and not Oprah or Dr. Phil.

I know it is difficult but at least you have us to give you strength. Many of us had no help.. thus the disasters in our AFC days.

Chill the fcuk out!

Seriously man you're spending more time worrying about what she's doing and what's going on in her life rather than yours.

I don't think its a disorder. Like most people in the world you're worrying about things that are out of your control. Some worry about the past. Some the future. Some their jobs, money, health, etc. Its sad really.

Focus your thoughts on what really matters. The present and yourself.

Get some hobbies man. Some interests that you love as much or more than your girl.

Living your life for a girl means you die a little when she leaves.

Sh*t that is a damn good quote (and I think I'll add it to my signature.)

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

How about, as soon as she leaves for work, leave your phone at home, and go for a run around the block for 30mins. This will be both good for your mind and your body!!

Worrying is natural. But clingy isn't. Just remember: She's with you because she likes you, so don't worry.

Of course, if you start finding condoms in her purse or car, THEN it might be time to start worrying. :p

But seriously, lighten up. Play pool, excersice, and have a life.

if you see her everyday then what is that you want? To see her every hour!! You are acting/thinking like a woman!

This is not 'compulsive' behavior, this is being 'clingy' and needy - women hate this trait from a man!

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

You need to reverse the situation and stop letting her be the one wearing the pants in this relationship. MAN UP!!! Kill that wussy, clingy, sh*t. It isn't attractive and it makes you look weak. If you keep up with that behavior I wouldn't be surprised if your next post is going to be titled, "Why did she cheat on me?"

It could be a disorder. But even if it is, it can always be fixed.
