"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I've been having some difficutly trying to figure out what my problem is. If I go out to a bar or out to a party or something like that I always have to make sure that everything is perfect.

I have to make sure that my face is clean, my hair is fixed just the way that I like it, and my clothes fit and look the way that I think looks good on me. And once I do go out finally, once everything seems to be perfect, I constantly check in the mirror every chance I get to see if I still look good.

I mean it sometimes even keeps me in my apartment at night when my friends are out. Like if I can't get my hair to look like I like it.. I won't go out.

Is this an issue? Or is it just me over analyzing.:nervous:

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Yeah, it's massive overanalysing. It's *very* easy and common to be more critical of your appearance than everyone else is. Truth is, the only reason you can see daft imperfections so well is because you're looking to them...to everyone else, they're not there.

Look at girls...you notice a bit of hair or makeup out of place...Does that make them less attractive to you, or less fair game? lol, does it fvuk, you don't care. Same analogy bud

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hey man, been down that self-obsessive road. I can relate full well to what you're talking about. In some ways what we are suffering is some sort of weird OCD, self-image disorder. I wouldn't be surprised if it has the same roots as other problems like anoerexia - try to limit the number of times you look at the mirror and how long (seconds, minutes) you spend in front of it. Takes some training, but you just gotta trust and rely on the way you've left yourself when you walk out the door.

Now that I've left that shyt behind I find myself suffering from skinny twerp syndrome...I've bulked 20lbs in the past 10 months or so but in my mind I don't have any muscles whatsoever. Sucks!~

So you just trained yourself. And your over that part now? I mean I guess this is something that I should'nt be concered about but it just seemed to happen over the past few years. I'll get over it. I guess I need to get myself out of the house more and think of other things.

With your skinny twerp syndrome I had the same thing happen to me a year ago. One of the ways I got over it is simple. One time me and my buddy were at this girls house and we had our shirts off in front of the mirror.

I don't know how we ended up this way, but we had a playful pose down and I noticed that I had much more muscle than he did. This may not help but it did kinda help me.

I cannot say I relate to not going out because of it, but I was like that when I was younger. I did however, get over that, because I became happy with myself, what I could acheive, and how I looked. I was probably out of that phase by around 22.
