"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

DJism at its very core is a thing known as self-esteem. Most of these concepts come from the DJ bible

When you have low you feel like shat but when you have high self-esteem you are much more happy and in a better mood. Let me show you what I mean.

Signs of High Self-Esteem

1.Accept yourself (good or bad)
You must accept yourself to understand your individual flaws.

2.admit mistakes
this goes with accepting yourself. You must do this to understand and fix those mistakes. Such as your weak. Recognize it and fix it by waight lifting

3.take responsibility for your actions
You should take responsibilities for your actions good or bad. You hurt someone don't just say "well he did it"

4.feel competent
Feel like you know what the hell you are doing. If you don't know what is going on you are unsure of yourself

5.willing to learn and try new things
Take risks in your life. Like a small one is eating somewhere you don't know about or driving somewhere you don't know about.

6.take chances
If you don't take chances you have already failed yourself but if you take a chance so what if you fail at least you will know what you are doing

7.use your abilities in activities
Don't try and hide from success take risks and see what happens

Signs of low self-Esteem

1.Peer pressure
You falter and go with the group. If you don't like something, stand up for yourself and don't do it.

2.worry to much about what others think about you
you let others say how you should dress and do things. Once you get rid of those bonds of stupidity and try to fit in. You will learn real freedom to do what you want within the areas of law.

3.self-esteem will go up and down
this goes hand in hand with number 2. you let others define how your self-esteem will be that day.

4.few satisfying relationships
this doesn't mean just with women. This means with people in general. People must have a large base of friends and people to hang out with.

5.Bully others or threaten others they see as weaker than yourself
You become arrogant and thinking that you are better than everyone else. You must realize that you are making yourself look like a fool. Even if people are laughing with you, you are the chump because you might have just lost a person that could have become a friend

18 ways to improve your self-esteem

1.asssit others

2. find a passion
right from the bible it says to do that(RE Pook)

3.self-improvement
A big thing on this website

4. build a network of supportive friends
Yes you should have many friends

5.Surround yourself with people who respect, approve, and accept you for you
surround yourself with people who are working with the same cause that you are. Such as you notice how business people stick with other business people and not with drug bags and poor people because they don't work the same as you so this might just hurt yourself

6. learn from your mistakes
only idiots do the same thing over and over and wait for a different result

7. don't let rejections and putdowns affect you
Right out of the bible

8. affirminations
Right out of the bible

9.look at weakenesses and improvements
look at your weaknesses. See them for what they are and fix them

10. congratulate yourself on everything that you do that is good

11. Stay in school
Knowledge is power

12.improve your mindset

13. practice your passions

14. get training in an area of interest
Become a jack-of-all-trades

15. make a list of qualities, skills, and talents
make a list and continue to make that list bigger and bigger

16. avoid engaging in self-destructive habits
avoid things in which you might end up having problems with

17. volunteer

18. set concrete goals and accomplish them
So you are skinny plan this out.
6 steps to improve your self-esteem
a. Select a goal
b. List what you will do to reach that goal
c. Identify others who can help you and support your efforts
d. give yourself an identified period of time to reach your goal
e. build in several checkpoints to see how you are doing
f. Give yourself a reward once you have achieved it

If you noticed from the entire post alot of DJ qualities come alive from the thing known as self-esteem. I gave you ways to improve it. Now get out there and get it.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Great thread. Lack of self-esteem is the root of a lot of AFCism-determined the women won't like them as they are, they feel the need to go out of their way to impress the woman and get her to like them.

For me low self-esteem was mostly about perfectionism. I have always wanted to be perfect and have high standards for myself.
I have learnt over time to loosen up, accept myself, and set more realistic goals and not get upset if I don't reach them.
This has made me a lot more relaxed and happier.

Im of the opinion that self esteem and self respect are the most basic foundations of becoming an attractive man. You confidence, dominance, attitude and every other attractive trait that women look for in a man is a direct result of his own self image. Your self image is absolutely paramount in how you are perceived by other people as they will only respect you as much as you respect yourself. If you have no respect for yourself, people wont have any respect for you either.

Self respect should be your #1 priority.

Amen to that!! I take it this is coming from the heart since you have 31 years under your belf. Spoken like a true champion. Looks, height, intelligence, money will not do damned thing if you have low-self esteem.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Here, this should pretty much gives you a different perspective on self-esteem:

Note that I would strongly suggest reading the whole article which is quite fascinating if the whole self-esteem paradox is of some interest to you.

http://www.geocities.com/forbidden_area/esteem.html

Remember, Key Point #1: Self-esteem must, in some way, be earned.

Remember, Key Point #2: Self-esteem must be earned repeatedly. It is never permanent.

Remember, Key Point #3: Self-esteem leads intermittently to self-damnation.

Remember, Key Point #4: Self-esteem usually promotes social and behavioral inhibition.

Remember, Key Point #5: A compulsive drive for self-esteem leads to frequent anxiety.

As an immediate corollary, we deduce Key Point #6: Self-esteem- related anxiety is an obstacle to achieving those goals essential to our self-esteem!

So, remember, Key Point #7: To overcome self-esteem-related anxiety and inhibition, recognize that your choice is not between self-esteem and self-condemnation. Your choice, rather, is between establishing an overall self-image and establishing no self-image. View your external actions and traits as desirable or undesirable, but abstain from esteeming or damning yourself as a whole.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
