"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

1.) Tonight at was at my university's library in a study group. I got up and leave the group to go to the computer lab. As I was walking I saw these two freshman girls talking to their friend. I made eye contact with one of them. I didn't smile, but just looked at her, and she looked back, as I was walking past by.

Then they left their group and followed me to the computer lab. I didn't know they were behind. When I got to the door, I had some trouble struggling to get the electronic card reader to accept my ID card. And did the two girls do? They started giggling behind me like little schoolgirls. That's the first time a situation like this happen before. I think I know what's going on but I want to make sure.

What do you guys think it means when those girls were giggling?

2.) In my study group is one blonde HB6 or HB7 chick. She has a bf in the same class as us but from what I can tell, he's a dork. I don't know too much about them to tell if she's really into him.

I've been doing my part for the past two weeks to tease her, make fun of her, and make her laugh. But tonight she seems a loof. She would pay more attention to our AFC friend who was studying with us and almost ignoring me. She spent most of the time talking to him and asking him question while ignoring me. Then she'd sit between us and help him with his work while almmost not saying anything to me or looking at me.

It felt weird, then I begin wondering if she was playing games. An opportunity came up when she ask me for my help on her work. I got up and sit on a chair next to her and lean in very close so our arms are slightly touching. I'd keep keep leaning in a little bit, then move away, and lean in again arms touching then repeat.

Once she lean in and touch my forearm with her hand but quickly pull her hand away. Later she started leaning in again. Later while I was typing something on her laptop, she needed to type something in. So she move her hands onto the keyboard and slightly touched my hands. I didn't immediately move my hands away and she didn't either. I left it there for a few sec before withdrawing.

Last as it was getting near 10 pm, I got up to go use the bathroom. When I came back she was standing up packed up ready to leave and talking to our AFC friend about our project. I walked back to my chair and stay standing up and looking at her. She turned her head towards me and I immediately locked eyes with her. She stared back locking eyes with me and then left shortly.

So, how do you guys think I did with her?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I think you're thinking about this way too hard. You probably did well, but you'll end up hurting yourself in the end by overcomplicating this.

You may be right in that I'm overcomplicating it. But I don't think I am. I'm not too interested in her. Right now I'm just setting up things with her for later just in case.

Anymore opinions?

Come on man, this shoudn't be a question. You should have started teasing and telling them to help you get this thing working. There the ice would have been broken and you could have started to talk to them easily. Don't think too much man, just act. Trust me, I have done the same thing but lately I find myself doing the very FIRST thing that comes in my head. And you know what? Usually the first thing is the best.

Re: Re: SEDUCING Girls in College

DJLegion, you're absolutely right. I should've talked to them. My excuse: I was too tired from the study group and wasn't in the mood. Thank you for your input.

I have another question for the second part:

Do you guys think I did enough work on her to spark an interest, so that now I can start ignoring her and focus on other girls.

Actually, I think this is another of theSpeculator's joke threads which he's admitted to creating for no other reason than his own amusement... the "These girls giggled, what does it mean??" pretty much gave it away (just like his thread from the other day in which he asked "a girl smiled at me, what does it mean?"). Stop being so uptight and laugh at his jokes!

sounds like over analyzing the situation

You did well from what it sounds like. Just keep making her laugh and give her kino. I am sure your AFC boy will be dead in the water if your the one touching her. Leave the meaningless talking to him. Keep the eye contact up and don't worry.

If it was a serious post for once, then here goes:

My initial reaction would be that they were giggling at the guy in front of them who couldn't open a door. I'd have thought it was mildly amusing, personally, but since it was 2 younger girls teetering like they were in high school I'd imagine they found you cute, thus making the situation that much funnier. A perfect time for you to have initiated a conversation with the both of them.

It sounds to me like she really wanted to understand this subject that you're both taking, so she came to the study group. Perhaps she was having great difficulty grasping a key concept and didn't feel like playing games - that would explain why she was acting aloof to your neg hits and C&F, and paying attention to the "AFC who was studying". This also might be the reason she helped him with the work... because she was at a study group, and really wanted to study. Perhaps you should suggest that you and her meet outside of that environment... if she says no, then she never had any interest in you to begin with, and you're exactly where are you are right now. If she agrees, then my reaction would be that she is indeed interested in you.

On a side note, if she's not interested, you 'sitting on a chair next to her leaning in very close so your arms are slightly touching, then keep leaning in a little bit, then moving away, and leaning in again while trying to touch her arms then repeating' is really going to freak her out.

ha ha ha,

speculater, i think you do analise things to much when it comes to girls...

let me tell you what a wise old man told me once..

i was worring about an argument i had with a friend, i wish i had said this and i wish i had said that..etc and..he stopped me there and then... in the middle of what i was talking about..

he pulled, out of his pocket a penny... just a normal penny, and he held it there in front of me..
i was confused not knowing what he was going to do, and then all of a sudden.. he let go..

he droped the penny on to the floor, looked at me.. and with a twinkle his eyes he said..

"stop that penny from falling"...

"what" i said..

"stop the penny from falling"

confused, slightly, i replied"how can i stop, when, it has already fallen"

"exactly"he said..

he confidently and profoundly stated;

"there is nothing you can do now to stop that penny from hitting the floor... you could if you wanted to, analise the past, and say... well i could of caught it, if i new it would happen...and if i had done this and that then..
still the penny can not be stopped from hitting the floor, no matter what you do or how much you think about about it, there is nothing you can do"

at that moment
i realised something that did change me, i realised that i need to start living in the present, taking opportunities as they come, and if i miss an opportuinty then gain the experience to catch the next opportunity when it strikes, instead of mulling the past over and over...

abandon your analasis and go with the flow, enjoy the moment, it wont happen again....

Diablo,

I agree with what you said about the first situation.

But you have the second situation a little wrong. It's my fault that it wasn't so clear. I'll try to make my future post clear to everybody.

We were really meeting to work on our lab report, which we had to do as a group. We split up the sections. We are suppose to converse to each other about the project . However, she only converse to him and almost totally ignoring me. But later on me and another friend of mine join us and we started teasing her and she reacted positively to it, laughing.

After the teasing was when I started doing KINO on her. And it wasn't as Diablo said. I agree that leaning in touching, the pulling back, and leanig in again, repeatedly would freak out a girl. THAT WAS NOT WHAT I DID. When there was something on her laptop that she said I needed to look at, I lean in slightly so our arms are touching. Look at what she wanted me to see and then withdraw to do my own thing. Then when she wanted me to see something else, repeat. Let me clarify, the whole process was relax and smooth.

Also let me clarify that I do not have any very strong sexual interest in her to make me want to chase her. I'm doing this just to see if I can get her interested.

Does anyone think that chicks will act a loof to a guy that their are attracted to? Especially if it's a guy that they know?

Catch,

I appreciate what you are trying to tell me, but I am not the guy you are suggesting. I admit that I have a very analytical mind. I'm proud that I have one, for it is because of it that I was able to develop my DJ intuition so quick.

I can understand that you would assume I was like that since a lot of guys here are very analytical. However I am one of the rare ones that figure out how to balance my analytical inclination with DJ skills.

When I'm with a girl I don't analyze like crazy about what I need to do, but just do it naturally. I simply am able to do the DJ skills naturally. It's only after I leave and go back home that I analyze, or in other word "reflect" back on it. Reflecting is important since it is how you can learn what you are doing wrong and figure out how to fix it and maybe improve it for the next time.

Bro, your asking us to explain why a chick did what she did. Who the hell knows. From what u tell us, you did everything right. We don't have any magic words to tell you that your in, and she wants you. Play the game day by day. Who knows, maybe she'll cave and go for you. But you said she was only an hb 6......go for others girls, no need to stoop that low.
