Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Something I should have started a couple years back when I stumbled across this site as a young squire to white knighthood. So now begins my journey. After the realization of my AFC relapse and ignorance in keeping a oneitis as a plate (the ensuing rejection that released me and in a sense brought closure to my white knighthood), it is time to really push myself.

My goals:
-Speak less: I am a natural bullsh***er. Time to save it for when it matters
-Not hold back: speak my mind, never to hold my tongue out of decency
-Release my sexuality: not to inhibit out of fear of society
-Get healthy and super fit: a ripped body is just a bonus
-Be more mature: immaturity has been my downfall in the past
-Be more social: actually go to social events I am invited
-Set weekly goals to keep myself on task

Now that it is in writing, it is time to act.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Cheers N&I

Tis a dark day in STR's life. After a drunken fueled night, he woke up next to a HB2. Cannot recall much besides dropping her off at the train station. Think we both weren't quite sure what happened. Have always hated clubs and will definately be avoiding them in the time being.

Still have not heard from oneitis. Not sure what to do as she is my lab partner. When she told me she wanted to just be friends, I replied back in my usual jovial and flirting manner telling her she should have told me earlier and no dramas about it. Normally I would do the same but NC and delete her number but unfortunately I have to see and touch her for 3 hours couple afternoons a week in class.

It is now the weekend proper. Goals for upcoming week:
-smash my aquatics exam
-find another job
-number close at least 2 HBs
-strike up a random conversation with 2 people
-keep reducing junk from diet and keep exercising.

So since my last post:
-number close 5 HBs in the space of a few days. Was a huge buzz and never realised how easy it was; a simple hey whats your number after building some rapport and you are in.
-unfortunately getting a date is the next big hurdle. Finding it hard to simply go for it. Have now ended up building rapport as none seem that keen.
-starting to build a new friendship circle and this time am not seen as the 'nice guy' of the group. Feeling good.
-Upping the ante at the gym and training but diet is still a struggle with gorging on junk food every few days.
-have kicked my ass off the couch and started going out and hanging out with friends, relaxing and mind is taken off girls

Yeah Bradd, maybe she wasn't as bad as I thought... Posted that after a day of feeling sorry for myself so self pity must of got to me. Oh well, you just learn from your mistakes and move on.
