Choose your passion lightly. Making a fool out of oneself publicly, like so

Torches one's credibility irreparably, ESPECIALLY when he then tries to masquerade as an authority on masculinity/making modern men "better" than what we inherently are

I don't know anything about this guy but he seems like he belongs to the just man up and pull yourself up by the boostraps, son kind of crowd. Boomer logic with the commonplace modern gimmick of a contrarian twist masquerading as sage advice only now being revealed to the masses.

Billionaires often come from wealthy families and have connections and resources to draw from without worry about the consequences of taking on any kind of risk.

Being good at something isn't a driver enough for most people and there's no guarantee that the market even cares about what you're good at. Everybody can maxx any one of their generic skillsets, but there's no guarantee that there's a success story awaiting you. Lots of highly skilled carpenters or mechanics good at what they do working 9 to 5 jobs putting in tens of thousands of hours without any guarantee they're going to be wealthy, or the sort that become famous TV celebrities.

He makes it sound so easy for the average joe, but often these types of men simply shekeled their way to success. His attitude seems to be: make money and you'll be passionate about making money. Fair enough, but your average joe often doesn't begin adulthood with the requisite aquiline nose, vulpine lips, and hypersalivation.

Scott Galloway seems to have accepted being bald and cucked. He'll take a passionless life if it means he has money (I assume he is wealthy) and can pretend he's a man of 'high value' in a gynocentric world populated by 'low value' men.

Everything in life is someone's passion. No matter what you do, you're competing against that person. And they never stop working, because to them it doesn't seem like work. There is no winning in that scenario. You can't compete against passion.

I've never been big on his message or angle on topics. Something just seems off and condescending about his message to men, young or old, or people in general. Very much belongs to the "just man up and pull yourself up by the boostraps, son" crowd as another poster stated.

People need reasons for living and striving for something greater than themselves. Lack of such purpose is one of the root effects of increased social media use and modern life as a whole. Disagree with his arguments for the most part.
