Scholarship essay question....

Hey guys I'm applying for a scholarship and one of the questions is
" As information technology conitnues to develop at an incredible rate what pracitical applications for business and technology do you foresee in our society?"

The thing is I'm not really sure what is being asked so I'm not sure how to answer this. How would you interpret this?
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Suggestion: Use technology to search for the viewpoints of a person who who has a major influence on technology. You should figure this out on your own since you would like to receive money for your insight on things like this.

I wasn't trying to get an easy answer here. I just wrote 4 other essays for the same scholarship. I don't mind thinking on my own, but im drawing a blank as to what the question is actually asking. I should probably just take a break and look at it later with fresh eyes.
