"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The Scene:
A bar, the street, a bookstore, or the phone.

The Characters:
CoolRunning, a suave and sophisticated DJ.
HB, a cute and charming woman.

So...can you give me some advice on how to schedule day2s? A lot of times I run into a situation where the girl is interested to day2, but not totally or enormously into me. She's at the level of "this guy seems fun, I could see him again". At this point it's a matter of logistics - finding the overlapping holes in our work and play schedules WITHOUT sounding needy or free all the time! She might be up for meeting after work one day, but she might not be interested to give up her Saturday afternoon or evening to some guy who seemed cool but is still kind of a stranger. Right?

So, how do I organize the day2 without appearing needy or free all the time? I realize I'm losing pulls to this. Here's my typical phone conversation.

Me: Hey, we should get together for coffee some time.
Her: Yeah, that would be fun.
Me: How about Tuesday at 7pm?
Her: I have blah and blah at that time.
Me: [desperately thinking how to suggest another time without seeming like i have nothing better to do]

Got any sample scripts that you've actually used with women to set up a day2 in two busy peoples' lives? Should I just ask her when she's free, and find which times overlap mine? Or what?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

The greatest way to avoid this type of thing...

Let it hang in the air after you ask her to chill, she'll be wondering as the convo. drifts away from that topic... "wtf is going on?"... "does he want to chill"... eventually after about 5 or 10 min. of conversation she'll bring the subject back up or it'll be at the end before you say your goodbyes... I've done this at least 50+ times with females and any girl who has a REMOTE interst in you other than friends... will bring it back up... ALWAYS... try it out

YOU: It'd be cool if we hung out for coffee sometime
HER: Yeah that would be fun
YOU: So do you watch entourage ?? That sh*t is so funny

^ ^ Get the point, she'll bring it back around and at that point the pressure will be on her to set the date... she'll feel like she worked for you and it'll be MUCH easier for you

Hey man thanks. In fact I have done that (unintentionally) with a girl or two and you are right, they do bring it up. I still have the logistics problem of organizing a meet without sounding like a douche. I can usually get them interested enough - as you said - to bring it up, but not enough to make the date themselves.

Should I just say "Yeah, thanks for reminding me. So when's good for you?"

Take into account me and you have different styles so what works for me might seem uncomfortable to you, but I'm VERY hard to get and usually don't give females an inch...

If she brought it back up, I'd just be like... "ur still on that ? I didn't kno it was official... I'm busy this week, but some other time"

I dunno I don't sweat many girls (some i do and i go afc) but 90% of females I just don't care and usually have no serious urges for hanging out with them and because of that, they tend to stalk me and offer up everything. Before I got my gf, don't remember last time, while i was in the game, that i actually asked for a phone number... I leave that to the females... also dates seem to just get set up naturally for me... I never do the whole "wanna hang out thurs?" type thing..

Usually the female just says, "hey i'm having a party... u should come" or "hey come with me to eat" or somethin of that matter... if you play your game right without a feeling of neediness.. litteraly with the attitude that you could walk away from even the most beautiful female for no reason... girls will offer up much more than just a phone number or date.... and don't ACT like you don't care... get to the point you DONT care... once ur there u'll be the one who flakes out, who dosen't call ect... the game switches... took me a few yaers to get there and i don't expect u to get there after this post... but make it a long-term goal for yourself. The game is MUCH easier at that point rather than chasing these girls like a horny dog with material off the net

Sorry to be off-topic, but with your logistical problem and having the need for the date and sincerely wanting to hang out, I'd suggest you tell her when you're not available and go from there...

Her: So u were saying about hanging out before ?
You: Yeah, but my whole week is kinda crazy
Her: Yeah mines too...
You: Friday i might, but ehhh nahh actually can't... possibly wed. if u wanna help me do laundry, its actually kinda fun... I like to build up the clothes into a pile and then jump in them... u kno like when little kids build the big pile of leaves in the fall... its pretty amazin actually...

^ ^ That's what i'd go for... just seems more 'playa' like to me and not so chumpish like... "are u free monday ?" --> "Tues?" --> "Wed?" ect...
