Saying something stupid

I have been heading out with chicks for a while now and for the most part I do ok with on my own when I stuff up. However one part really does get me. How do you fix things up when you have gone and said something really stupid. I have been going out with this girl for a just a little bit and she seemed like the playful sort and said that she would be heading to Australia for a holiday (i'm from New Zealand you see) so I asked her If she planning on doing any sunbathing. I then asked on if she was the sort that did topless hoping it would lead somewhere and saying that gave you an insight into personality. She Didn't like this at all and said it sure does give her insight into mine and shes not sure if she like's it or not. Anyway shes gone to australia now and in her words shes left me to ponder it. There's no doubt that we will c each other or talk again but i'm not sure if I should just avoid this or come up with something to say to get past this. So how should I deal with this and keep the girl?

Well we all stay stuff that is stupid at certain times. If she gets all bents out of shape by one thing you say (and persists with it) then she is nutts in the first place. In relationships that is the least of your worries so imagine if you actually started to date her... LOL

You just hit her anti-slut defense shield thats all. So you punched the electric fence and got a shock... no biggie.

Don't try and do any sort of damage control - if she still is talking to you then she still likes you. Don't change your behaviour for her.
