"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I didn’t see this coming. It was 10:45 and I had to head to the grocery store for some supplies. Just finished watching Batman Begins. Hair was a mess, sweatpants, ripped baggy tshirt and a zipper hoodie. Hot mess.

Im in the grocery store, juggling my items - “shoulda grabbed a basket. I always do this”. Eventually flow towards to the cashier. I see the person ahead of me is super healthy based on the items strewn all over the conveyer belt “My kind a homie.” However no one is there. Desolate checkout.
All of a sudden like a genie.. a younger woman appears! POOF! With an avocado in hand and places it down. Glances at me, with a half smirk. Easily an 8.5/10. Must have been 23. Very busty, sweet face, no makeup, great skin, nice full butt. Whoa.
internal panic induced.

She gave me so many signals to talk to her. Smiles, open body language, feet pointed to me. “No one stands open towards the person behind them at a cashier. Say you like avocados too? Say, nice boobs? Sayyy hi?”

Then after she pays she takes her sweet time putting in headphones and choosing a song on her iPhone. Lingering. Looking at me as I could see from my peripheral vision. “Ask her what she’s listening to”
Then she walks away; only shortly ahead of me.
We’re outside now and she’s about three meters ahead of me. Gorgeous hair and body. She even turned around to see me again!
“Run up beside her and tell her you pussed out because you were thinking about Batman and weren’t even in the mood for picking up hot women”
We walk like this for about a block and a half. “You can’t yell at her, from behind her. That’s just creepy, you missed your shot amigo. Learn from this display of betaness”
The feeling was that of a balloon string sliding through my hands and watching it float away in to the evening sky. So heart wrenchingly beautiful.

I froze up and didn’t make a move. Not even a peep. Nothing. Pathhhetic!

Gentlemen, my point of this thread is say something! Anything! You have about 6 seconds from initial sighting of HB to take action, then it’s all down hill from there.

Rejection is truly better than regret. This is that 1000th straw that just broke my camels back. “Poor camel”
Because had I said something, I know I would have had a smoking hot plate spinning on to my bed this evening or being my summer fling.

GODDAMNIT!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
