Look, Im not saying people with the disease dont deserve love...but this kid is only 24, and shouldnt risk his health and dating life like this. I hope hes a troll. But goddamn...whats wrong with men today? Getting sprung on an HIV positive girl he barely knows?

The guy is either wearing rose-coloured glasses with this girl or just hasn't learned in general.

He basically says that they're meant to be without even knowing her. He even spots a potential red flag, her taking him home to her family in no time, but his rationalisation covers it up. The guy says he "genuinely can't go a day without her" and reinforces the statement. He seems to actually think that they just coincidentally happen to get along well like a fairytale and have "so much in common" without even thinking about how this might be her effort to put on a good show to hook him ie. dating 101, I bet the idea of being manipulated even if it's not conscious on the girl's part has never been a thought to him.

Now, if she actually found out that she was HIV positive after she met this guy then her behavior is more understandable. But on the other hand if she was hiding it from him (which I think could be the case, she hooks some sucker first so he won't leave and then she drops it... after all being HIV positive isn't exactly good marketing) then that also adds "hiding things" and " intentional (rather than subconscious) emotional manipulation" to the red flag-list.

The guy is high on hormones so it's understandable, but he really should make an account here.
