sarging broke?

well i hit a little bump in the road financially, as with most of the middle class in the country. i'll spare you the whole sob story, but it boils down to this:

i work a seasonal job, and the idea is to save during the summer and fall so i can coast through the winter till spring. i did everything right and was set up for a great winter of partying, going to concerts/events, sign up for a few classes i wanted to take etc. BUT my family was not so lucky and basically are looking at an overwhelming amount of debt. to the point where they owed NYU, where my sister goes to school, about five grand, and would not let my sister sign up for spring classes without payment. well, i made the right decision and helped them(her) out, but it pretty much wiped me out. i figure i'm older, have more life experience, and am better equipped to handle a little adversity than my darling, but very emotional sister.

i've been throwing myself a pity-party all week, and have not gone out sarging once. i'm pulling out of the funk and am feeling better about the decision now, which leads me here.

obviously my first step is to find a new job stat! but i feel like i built a lot of good momentum in the first couple of weeks sarging, and dont want to kill it now. i even #-closed a legit HB 8 last saturday and want to take her out, i was gonna call her today, but have no idea what to do with her. furthermore i have no idea where to meet new women seeing as how the bulk of my sarging took place in bars/clubs, preferably in manhattan, but thats a little cost-prohibitive at the moment.

so, my question to you, sosuave, is how does one go about meeting and dating new women with all of fifty bucks in my pocket to last me until god-knows when?

honestly I don't spend more than 40 bucks on a date

usually less, learn to use your money , cheap date , go out to free events , over here in southern cali, we have art walks , or walk downtown,go to a park , if your in a bar, find bars with a good happy hour, happy hour = cheap drinks, I use to be friends with a bartender, I would bring girls, to the bar, he would hook it up with free drinks.

cheap dates, buy box of spaghetti and a thing of italian sauce + cheap bottle of red wine, and a rent a movie ...

Daygame is hard durning winter (imgaine in minnesota where its 10 degress with a nice wind right now)

However If you do live in NYC any place, Macy's and the mall are good daygame places, also belive it or not what I do is

I got to bars/clubs where cover is free or reduced. and they serve free drinks for part of the night. I don't give a **** If i'm there by 10:00. If its free cover and drinks (sometimes there are good quality) why not show up early? you are doing yourself a favor

mmh, you can go online as well, although I hate online, because women flake worse then dandruff

I need the benefits of this thread also. Just recently, I got a DUI and that will be expensive. Sure, I still have a job, but I can no longer go and drink and party all the time and spend money like I was. It is a wierd feeling for me and I honestly don't know what to do with a girl for free, except maybe find a sporty girl and go play soccer at the park or something.

a little update;

i just got a call from a dutch friend of mine whom i met in kathmandu. apparantly, he won 55,000 euro's and is going to fly me out to cabo san lucas to meet up with him for a couple weeks in january, all expenses paid!!

who said karma doesn't exist?!?!?

lol, still broke in the meantime, but i cant stop laughing at how ridiculous life can be when you stay positive.

feeling on top of the world!!!

i guess i'll go out to a local pub tonight, purchase one or two drinks and try to meet a few women, how can they not love this story coupled with the grin i can't wipe off my face?
