"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Is it just me or is it that whenever the situation involves dancing you can't get anywhere. If your lucky enough to get a dance with the girl, your still not gonna be able to pull a meaningful convo with her. Without any rapport, any attempts to kiss close or isolate from dance floor will be met with resistance. Last night I approached a girl dancing and I just stood still trying to talk to her. She did not seem like in a mood to talk and pretty soon started grinding her ass against me. I went with the flow but was unable to find any words to say. Pretty soon she got bored with me and proceeded to dance with her friends. Is there an effective way to sarge on the dance floor or should I just avoid it and stick to the bars?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Ok, I take you are a very lousy dancer.

If I had the choice, I'd be SO glad to dance with a hottie instead of talking to her.

Body language existed way before spoken languages. And in my humble opinion, the language of your body is way more meaningful and genuine than your spoken one.

I'm not saying your shouldn't talk to her, but in a club on the dance floor, what's the point of making "meaningful" (in other words, "long" and "boring") conversation?

Sensually slip in a few words here and there, you will be good.

I admit that I suck at dancing but I am working on it. Hoping to take some lessons soon. With that out of the way, do u really think I got it all worked out for me? Doesn't the girl need to feel comfortable with you before she allows you to kiss close or f*** close her? I find it hard to believe that merely dancing and a few words thrown here and there can establish that.

I will elaborate more.

Actually there's no magic trick in this world, by no means I meant "if you a real great dancer, you will be able to kiss her or sleep with her", because it would be a blatant lie.

I do believe that body language is more efficient than "spoken" language. However, it DOES NOT mean that if you start dancing/speaking body language with her, she will automatically respond more positively. Just like for spoken languages, some people can talk interesting and smooth, some people totally suck. Body language is just another way of talking.

But let's say, on the same level of smoothness, body language works better than spoken language.

- First, because most people socially resort to spoken languages, so people are less jaded with/used to smoother body language speaker. See how well good speakers are received, but how girls would just go crazy over great salsa dancers?

- Secondly, like I said, body language tends to be more genuine. It's really simple to tell a lie, but see how hard it is to fake something? Thus, instinctively, we human beings give much more credit to good body language talk compared to just "talk". That's also why we say "talk is cheap", "action speaks louder than words" etc...

One last thing regarding dancing: although techniques can be learned, it's your soul your personality that guides your dancing. You can take all the classes you want, if you don't enjoy it, don't do it. It's like for sopen languages. You can learn all the languages and words you want. If you have nothing interesting to say, you will suck.

And of course, the girl better knows your name, you better know hers. Some personal info here and there. But again, it's not absolutely necessary. Just ask all those players who go on trips abroad and don't speak the local language, who do you think they attract their women? Sure it's harder without words, but this just shows how "cheap talk" is just secondary.

If you really are only comfortable with words, then maybe don't go to places where there's loud music.

All this is only based on my own experiences and thoughts, it might be very biased. Just for the record, I'm a good dancer who loves the club scene. However my primary goal of going to clubs is to dance and have a good time, attracting chicks only comes second.

rule of thumb

On the dance floor, and clubbing in general, a good rule is: when in doubt, shut the hell up. If you try to talk, you'll be getting a lot of "what'd ya say?" Tends to ruin rapport. Try mouthing the word "Hi" with a big smile.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

The above guy is right. Body contact can display much more than words.

I have the same problem and use to complain just like you. It's because I'm a sh*tty dancer and don't feel comfortable LETTING my body speak on the dance floor. I use to try to "talk" to girls, have them just ignore me (or it's just too loud), and end up b*tching to my buddies how lame it is to pick up chicks at these kind of venues!

Hence me hiring a private dance teacher and getting my act together!!

Hell, do people actually "dance" at clubs anymore? I mean it seems like it's just grinding from what I see.
