"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

1. A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
2. A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.

Am I the only person who doesn't feel a need or desire to be sarcastic? It just bugs me that all these faggots at school are sarcastic/sardonic whenever they're talking to a girl, or anybody for that matter. Like, sure I can be sarcastic, but it just isn't fun. It's cheap, annoying humour that's based of what somebody else is doing...For some reason girls laugh at it, guy's can't stop doing it, and here I am shaking my head at them all because its pathetic. I don't think I've ever laughed at a sarcastic comment and whenever one of my friends makes one(like every 5 seconds), I can't help but think he's a little turd who doesn't know how to make a good joke yet. I dunno, this is more of a rant than a revelation, but there's nothing more annoying than sarcasm in my mind.

Oscar Wilde: Sarcasm is proverbially described as “the lowest form of humor but the highest form of wit” (a quotation sometimes ascribed to Oscar Wilde, but untraceable).

Wikipedia: Sarcasm is sneering, jesting, or mocking a person, situation or thing. It is strongly associated with irony, with some definitions classifying it as a type of verbal irony intended to insult or wound -- stating the opposite of the intended meaning, e.g. using "that's amazing" to mean "that's awful". It is used in a humorous manner, often harshly, and is expressed through vocal intonations such as over-emphasizing the actual statement or particular words. Use of sarcasm is sometimes viewed as an expression of concealed anger.

Mabye I'm just not a naturally angry person.

Here's a good link for anybody to learn about sarcasm: http://www.sarcasmsociety.com/

It seems that sarcasm is used to convey your 'cleverness'. It would seem sarcastic people seem to have something to prove to people about themselves. All in all, I see sarcasm as some tool in a wankfest to prove he's the 'most clever' person in a group. Whatever...

If anybody else has anything to say on sarcasm, either for or against, I'd love your opinions...No really! Others of you might think i'm an idiot, or that I don't "get it".

In that case, carry on faggots.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Holy judgemental tirade Batman!

k...

My advice would be if you don't like sarcasm DON'T USE IT. Worry less about if other guys are using sarcasm and making girls laugh, and whether or not that makes them "faggots". Focus on your own game. Sarcasm works for some people, some people find sarcasm funny, if you don't that's fine, but I really doubt making all these judgements about sarcastic people is in any way shape or form actually helping you or your game (unless of course you manage to find some chick who hates sarcasm as much as you do, in which case you'll have plenty to talk about).

sarcasm is fun and you can get away with making fun of b-itches LOL

lighten up.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I just want to understand sarcasm and why people are sarcastic, because I'm just not amused by it.

So it's a tool, more than a mindset? If that's the case, then why are some people classified as sarcastic people? I know afew guys who, when they speak, every second sentence out of their mouth is a sarcastic statement. The funny thing is(to me), that these people really can't operate on their own. In other words, if they're talking to a girl they need a 3rd party around to rip into and to use as a catalyst for their "jokes". As I said before, it's sad...

This isn't an issue of my "game" or anything, it's about sarcasm, not necessarily related to girls...Personally I don't have any "game", I just act naturally and do what I want, which seems to work for me...
