So here's the situation.

Couple of days ago I was playing around with this pellet gun I got for my birthday, the safety failed, and I accidently shot my old LCD monitor.

So now I'm shopping for a new one, down to two choices.

Choice 1;
Samsung, 19"
2 ms response time

It's not their fault, most western companies in the consumer/prosumer eletronics market don't have their own technologies anymore.

They just buy shipments of what's produced in Taiwan, China, Singapore, South Korea and put a sticker with their brand name on it. What counts is they should be inexpensive and at least "acceptable", the rest they don't care.

At least Samsung has its own technologies, designs produces and distributes its own products. No surprise their products are better.
