Putin gave go ahead to Assad to shoot down Israeli planes over Syria. Apparently there was two Israeli F-35 stealth, which entered Lebanon and then crossed into Syrian territory. Syrian army fired missiles at them, and it looks like damaged two planes, one of which fell down. Other missiles fell in Jordan after running out of fuel.

S-200 is an old system, after S-200 there was S-300, S-400, and now S-500 and S-600. However, all air defense systems where modernized in Syria. (S-200 received new upgrades)

This fresh cutting edge western technology just got b1tch slapped in real war theater. Just imagine how much that thing cost, and it's combat effectiveness is near zero against technological enemy. At this, old weapon shot it down. It would be alright if S-400 shot it down, or at least S-300, but no, it was a modernized S-200 dinosaur designed in 1960s, and shipped to Syria in 1970s, upgraded 2 years ago, but still.

As you can see yellow CNN news has got it wrong with the number of arrested.

Also they have gotten it wrong with the slogan of the party, which in reality reads "who's not jumping is not bear".

Back to the topic, S-200 modernized, has shot down one F-35 and another F-35 was damaged. If you do not know, F-35 is the latest fifth generation plane. It costs about $90,000,000, ninety million dollars a piece. S-200 system is in operation since 1967-present and nobody knows how much it costs, because it is not sold anymore. We can estimate its single missile cost to be way under 1 million dollars.

By all accounts, the F-35 is a huge mess, not even close to ready to deploy. It has problems with avionics, weapons systems, software, and even providing breathable air for pilots.
