I don't agree with everything he says, but like how he states the not-so-obvious and obvious that the 'Oligarchs' KNOW that it's all coming down (unavoidable) and are just buying time in order to protect their wealth. They're getting Most of the world "used" to a lower standard of living by these 'shocks' (Corona, Riots/Race for us to blame our coming poverty on), and More 'shocks' to come on down the line, in the future. The point is, with the November/December 2019 "Repo" crisis (where our US Treasuries they're admitting are now basically worthless), it was already KNOWN to them that none of this money-printing has worked and that they KNOW it's all coming down. They just do not #1 want to lose their accumulated wealth, these 'Oligarchs' or Billionaires and 100+ millionaires, and #2 they do not want Angry now-lower-standard-of-living masses to start making guillotines for the Oligarchs' (and their minions') heads to be inserted in.

Socialism is always a possibility in democracies. Even if it's on it's way there is always fascism that counters it. You might have a compromise in a totalitarian state like china. You might become like Russia or Brasil. It's not the end of the world

Higher chance is that you end up like Europe and that's it. The real danger is the worst case scenario a nuclear war.

Godpill is a natural reaction, we all desire to have our own families somewhere down the line. His forum has a lot of older folks so naturally they would want to settle down.

He was better when he was a primarily game writer. Even his mixture of game and culture era, which overlapped with the Return of Kings time, was still quite good.

It was saying that all the little self pleasure things we do overstimulate our brains with dopamine, so that we don't derive the same pleasure that we otherwise would from doing the right things that are actually good for us. Like socializing, completing important tasks, etc.
