Room makeover from scratch. Help wanted

I decided to move into the storage room mainly for the reason i can play my music loud on my decks without my parents complaining and also it's far as possible from my parents room .

Anyway i need ideas, especially theme colours and positioning of furniture. I want my room to have an underground urban feel to it so it'd be a cool hang out place when i'm spinning on my decks and mates come over but also warm and cosy for chicks .

I have photos of the room as it is now and i'll let you know i'm taking everything out of this room, including those white shelves. So just imagine this as an empty room.

First I need an idea for the flooring. I'm thinking i can simply repaint the concrete floor as long as it blends in with the brickwall and surrounding walls. However if it's inexpensive I might opt for carpeting or floorboards.

Next i want to know what colour themes choices do i have with the walls and furniture/fabrics.

Now the buying and positioning of everything. I'll be requiring a sturdy queensize bed, desk(s) to support dj gear and computer + monitor, TV console, couches?, and anything else to make the room complete.

You should change your bed, it looks too childish in my opinion.

Your rug is too plain. Get a stylish rug. Change your curtains.

The colors of your room scream "gay"

My advice...you gotta do something about those bricks, and the light dude. If I was a chick and you brought me back there, I would think you were a serial killer that was about to torture me Hostel-style. Maybe paint or do some wallpapering. Or get a light covering. Those are the biggest things that need improvement to me.

Hostel really took the erotism from torture didnt it?

The room needs some Posters Definately,
they are good for conversations

mirrors are cool too,

TV and Stereo a must,

such a small space fortunately though~
make the best of it.

Move to bigger place ASAP or if possable

christ that has so much potential for an underground feeling place. you need to keep the brick walls, paint dark colors, leather sofa, decks, maybe even a lil fridge or whatever. the bed needs to be dark, everything dark club feeling.
