Romantic ideas? (Any women want to comment?)

Hi guys

Now I know part of the whole romance thing is to be original, but sometimes it's the cliches that women like (rose petals on the bed, etc).

So I was wondering if any of you would like to share the romantic things you've done for your girlfriends?

Or the ladies here have any stories?

Rose petals are covered with pesticide and poisons, btw.

For romance, I like nature, mostly because it is free. There is no "I am buying your affection" vibe. Try sunsets, sunrises, stargazing, meteor showers, and wildlife. Fireworks displays are also good.

My fiance used to brush my hair, paint my toenails, freshen my lipstick for me. Because I loved him, to me that was really romantic. He also used to try to pick my nose when he was being a goof, which I didn't find very romantic at all.

And Bible is right...being romantic doesn't have to cost money. Some of the best romantic gestures are free. Taking a blanket to a beach at night or a field under the stars is a good idea and it doesn't cost anything unless you want to add your favorite wine. But that's not necessary...just optional if you and the girl even like wine.
