In the long run, the Vietnam conflict was wasn't all bad for the American military. After the war General Abrams (like the tank), reorganized the Army. The quality of our soldiers has gone up, a lot of them are college grads now. The all volunteer service has eliminated the morale problems that the draft created. In 2008 the world spent $1,464 billion on all its military's. The U.S. contributed 41% to that total, yet that amount ($607b) was only 4% of our GDP. This kind of spending has turned our military into the kind of thing you'd expect from a sci-fi movie.

Also, the general public seems less willing to personally attack soldiers as was semi-common during the 60's protests. Support the troops, but not the war, is an attitude which exists now but was not nearly as wide spread during Vietnam.

We're not a third world country quite yet.

An AFC deep in the matrix cannot even concieve that the women really are the beings described by Roissy or Str8up; they're too psychologically invested in the disney/Romantic comedy ideal of women that they've been fed since childhood. They simply can't accept that the same sweet women who politely sit next to them in church, smile and play with children, will rob a man blind and do things that would make a porn star blush if they're with the "right guy". It's outside the scope of their reality; its akin to explaining how the sun is a giagantic ball of gas powered by atomic annhilation to a 6th century BC egyptian peasant who litteraly thinks that its the chariot of the sun God Re who flys it daily across the sky. He'll reject outright what you're saying if you simply present your conclusion to him- he's missing too many intermittant pieces of information to accept your conclusion as sensical- his lack of knowledge means that the "unlogical" sky-god conclusion is much more sensical then the scientific one you're presenting. He needs to be slowly feed the intermittant pieces of information before he'll accept your conclusion- in other words a long learning process where he slowly absorbs and masters the pieces of knowledge that allow him to accept the conclusions.

But see that's the problem with guys who say women are "devilish wh0res" and xyz. They think the only alternative is that women are angels. This is binary and black and white. Then they go on to suggest that they've "scientifically proved" some provable fact and suggest as if anyone that sees holes in the theory is a superstitious ancient thinking person. Maybe women are xyz and abc and maybe scientific analysis shows that's true.

Exactly so are we not to conclude that women are not naturally driven to be monogamous. And that maybe it's society and enviroment as much or more than "hard wiring" that is responsible for their current behavior? It does make a difference whether enviromental condition or "hard wiring" is the prominent factor. You can change enviroments but you cannot change hard wiring.

One thing that isn't mentioned is that most women are either hors or not hors. Most can go either way depending on the circumstances not to mentioned depending on the individual girl. To say woman is happiest and most driven to be a hor over being commited to someone is not always the case.

I have no idea the point of their ramblings. Why would men ever go away? Like we're just gonna up and volunteer to take off.

Women will be in chains raped at our pleasure before that ever happens. There's still plenty of the world that doesn't give a damn about women's rights and even our own countrys' (english speaking i'm thinking of - us, aus, uk) men are starting to not care anymore. People can only take so much before they get fed up.

We can't even clear a handful of insurgents out of iraq using men, but somehow women are gonna wipe out the men over the entire earth. Ok then. How are they gonna do it? Snide remarks and shaming words? "real men commit suicide."

Neccessity is the mother of all invention. I wonder just how fast if men wanted to that we could incubate a baby without a mother whatsoever. 7 years to get to the moon and back i believe it was when we really tried. Given all the other stuff accomplished already, i don't see why that would be soooo difficult.

I think a few scientists from the 1st world countries working together with a buttload of funding could do it within like a decade if there were an actual driving need.

Make no mistake about it.....change is coming, slowly but surely. The fall of the American empire (and the west in general) as we know it might exacerbate the situation in the short term, but my guess is that it will ultimately speed up the pendulum swing that puts power back in the hands of responsible adults (men!) where it belongs.
