Road rage chick

So me and one of my plates were driving to get lunch earlier today and I was def taken back by what happen.

She was driving and there was some construction in the road and some dude behind us wasn't breaking to let us into lane merge and she lost it. I mean like screaming curse words at him. Once he finally got in front of us he stopped, now I don't know if he was being a **** or car in front of him stopped I couldn't see. But she was in full road rage mode and almost got out of the car and I had to grab her arm.

I was really turned off by this like rage came outta nowhere and could of got me in a fight w someone. I didn't even know what to say. Told her to calm down and she was resistant to that. For sake of lunch I didn't get into it w her and she chilled out but damn came outta nowhere. Anyone experience this before?

Dude.. People are idiots on the road. Road rage is common. Likely it was PMS week for her and it triggered an outburst. Outbursts are never justified but tey do happen. A lot of it is also anxiety. People can only take so much before they snap. Since she's just a "plate" and you likely don't know her very well she may have had some things on her mind that you were not privy of that already drove up her anxiety/frusteration (often triggers adrenaline which takes 15mins to get rid of if your trying to calm down). In the future, ask her how she's feeling and go from there.

Symptom(s) of Cluster B/BPD disorder behavior (now hold on, she is NOT BPD, that can only be diagnosed by a professional clinician, however - I would be very hesitant getting too involved)


I would be VERY careful around her, it is craziness in action - women like that call the cops on you and accuse you of rape.

GotED always good with your replies bro. Here's the thing that made me really bothered was she had her nephew in the car, he's 4 years old. Like what if something went down and she's cussing like that in front of him. Been a long term plate and it's been a bad week for her in work but damn this was unexpected.

Yep last plate had road rage bad. Ended up walking away from her after one weekend when she turned it on me - came back inside the door of the gas station to scream at me for taking so long while I was at the register with a line of people behind me. It was dead silent and I pretended I didn't know her and she was crazy. After a few other events that took place that weekend - I left her stranded and told her to find her own ride home and that was it.

I'm a fairly calm dud as well so I was tripping when she blew up. She even said her outburst was justified, along lines of "I cant handle sh*t like that I dont care" Poor kid in the backseat lol

OP, you WILL be the recipient of that someday. But it shouldn't even be that fact that makes you walk away. It should be the fact that she has demonstrated classless behavior. I would dump her immediately.

Atom smasher, I agree. It's one thing to say "you dumbass" for getting cut off or something but she was in a full rage and almost got out the car. First time I've seen that from her. Any more outbursts I'm gonna start to pull away.

In Florida, if she gets out of the car, someone will shoot her. And you too, if you get out with her. And they might not even go to jail for it, not that you will care when you're dead. The important part is that the person who shoots you is convinced that they have the right to do it. So don't ever give anyone a reason, or let a woman put you in that situation.
