TheDarkSaint
Don Juan
This is a developing theory that I have and I'd like some imput on it.
I think todays world has lost something. I think the rituals that used to be used in defining when a boy became a man are gone and now men are stuck in some kind of limbo.
I can't remeber any time in my life where I felt like "I'm a man now" with all the rights and responsiblities that came with it. Back in the old days, it was when you got your first sword, or were strong enough to wield a scythe, or put in command of troops.
I know some on here think that when you tag your first peice of a$$ that you are a man, but ask yourself "Did you feel anymore responsible about life after you did your deed?"
I don't have any children yet, but if I were to have a son, I don't want to bring him up in a world where he doesn't have a chance in defining that he is now a man. I want to have some sort of goal for my kid so that when he becomes a man, he knows it.
