who are these guys, I saw them I think on a net nuetrality video. A video which later was pretty much shot to pieces by Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht of Digg.

I think this is sort of an interesting concept. But it sort of reminds me of the South Park episode where the internet went out. When Stan's sister finally met her internet boyfriend in person neither of them wanted to talk.

I think knowing someone ashared interests with you is nice and would help a little in meeting others. But you still have to approach someone new somehow. Most situations where you may meet someone new involve mutual interests. If you can't talk to people very well, knowing they like the same band as you doesnt really help. If you are good at socializing and meeting new people you don't need much similarity to have conversation.

And as far as the hot chick thing goes, if you see a hot chick, do you really need to look at her profile pictures?

I am definately not buying an iphone. I went into a shop the other day to look at one and "test drive" it and i was quite disapointed and they wanted about $730 outright for it plus an extra $80 to unlock it.
