Everything said about women here is very true, but usually, it doesn't happen the way you think.
Or rather, in almost all relationships (of my social circle and of the people i've met), it's the woman who "manages" the relationship. You might be wondering how?

It's the woman who experiences sexual peaks and therefore asks her man to choke her, tie her up, or f0ck her hard in the ass.
It's the woman who suddenly has moments of craving c0ck and might give her husband a ******* at the cinema or right afterward in the car if no one notices.
It's the woman who suggests new things, like trips, going out, things to do.
The husband is there and is simply consulted to decide whether or not to do these things.

You might think this is something specific to my circle, but a quick online search will tell you otherwise.
Husbands discover their wives are total sluts only after they've had children or after she's gotten pregnant, because this triggers spikes in their sexual desire.
And so, once they've unblocked this, the husbands will be the ones to ask.
In this case, however, it was the woman who broke the ice by letting her husband know she wanted to be ****ed that hard. He would never have gotten around to it.
Women are the ones who step up and suggest new things in the relationship.

In this dynamic, the woman feels in "control" of the relationship, but what does that sound like to you?
Currently, we men are told to do the opposite, that is, to be the ones who put these things on the table, little by little.
But instead it seems that these women go crazy every now and then, and want to achieve "what they desire".

Most men become complacent, once they've gone exclusive or married, stop doing everything that made us appealing to begin with, such as being gallant and assertive

Same way most women pack on the pounds, become shrewish and Kareny, once they've gotten wifed up

I understand your point.

What I wanted to bring to the fore isn't "how a man changes to please her," but rather that he never proposed in the first place. While he's acting like this, like a complete beta male, he's being offered the opportunity to learn and become a mature man. Without having to study forums or how women work, just by "understanding" what a woman is doing and her stages, he can understand how lucky he is to be in a relationship with such a woman.

Honestly, when a woman sees that a man is "asleep," she leaves him or cheats on him. You know about it, right?

So why are there women who, despite seeing him as a fool, continue undauntedly trying to make him understand how things really are?

Analogous to what's described here

Keeping your body fit, and your relations with other human beings vibrant requires that we NOT give in to our visceral urges(Which tell us: "Remain apathetic!!! That's what's cool!!!"), so most folks choose to go the way of the degenerate

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
