"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Officially "going out"

1. How long do you have to be doing stuff with a chick to be considered "going out" and to be "boyfriend and girlfriend"?

2. Is any action of doing something together considered a date? Is it considered a date if other people (guys and girls) are around but I'm the one who called?

3. Is there a question to pop, as in a marriage proposal? It's hard to seem confident or ****y and funny when asking "Will you go out with me?" That seems wussy to me. If she asks "Do you think we're going out?" do you find a confident way of saying yes?

4. A lot of posts and e-mails say to do something called a "kiss test." Girls can flirt with all kinds of guys in many situations. How do you know she isn't just playing with you? If you kiss her, she could go "WTF is wrong with you?!" and then the whole school finds out and suddenly you're a date raper.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

The first one really all depends on the people. Some people just say they're going out before they even go out on a date. Some people consider themselves "dating", but they aren't officially a couple.

The second I would say it's not a date if it's more than just you two. Unless there's an equal number of guys and girls and it's not just like a group of friends (meaning, at least one of the couples, whether they're going out or not, set it up to be like a triple date or something).

And I can't really answer the second two. Some people do just say "will you go out with me?", but others don't. I don't know a c + f way to say it.

You 'offically' invite her to a date on a friday night. It isn't too hard to be c+f when inviting a girl. But remember, BE YOURSELF! No matter what lines you use... you have to be yourself. Remember girls judge you by what you say and what you do. Be careful on what impression you make. If you make an impression on her -- make it the truthful impression. Don't be "fake." I KNOW MANY people like that -- its sad...

I use a variety of ways to make up "lines" and I even get complements on them from girls.

I see "fakeness" in other guys, even when other people don't notice. It is hard to notice it in one's self though.

What characteristics are considered fake?

Well when did you start making up these lines?

In my opinion lines, in general, are fake. Unless you made them up... if that is part of personality -- being humorous, etc then it isn't fake.

Making up "lines" and other **** to get into a girls parts is just wrong, amoral, fake and very low.

Being yourself is the best policy. Some guys are like this.. so they are being legit -- but they won't get far with that attitude.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

don't worry about the relationship. if you're hooking up with a girl, let her decide when to bring up the relationship question. after a few hook ups they usually ask what you're looking for in them, in which case you thank them for the sex and get out of there.

They're not traditional pick-up lines. There's just things that are really funny/****y/clever and people like to hear them.

What if other people like her friends bring up whether or not we're going out thing? What do I tell the? If she askes me if I like her, then do I simply say "yes"?
