Is "The Game" really that good of a read?

I read the first couple of chapters the other day I went to borders. The book is pretty much well written. When I got home, I placed an oder on one at amazon ( it is very costly at borders: $29.99). Later on, I was able to dig-out the pdf version of it online.

Is "The Game" really that good of a read?

Yes and you learn a lot. It's not as skill-oriented as some writings (like DYD), but it has a lot of contemporary history in it so you find out who the big names are and how they got there. It's pretty funny too.
